"I got this for a 09 Rhino it could be abot 1-inch wider and 6-inches taller that would have been great. Overall it fits ok and works ok if dims were larger it would great. It dose keep out dust and the wind seems to be built well."

Ranger Wind Stopper,

By EdAl

"The product was easy to install, tested it in rain and on unpaved dusty mountain roads. It performed without hitch. Better quality than the original dust cover from Polaris! really keeps the dust and wind out, will come handy in snowy times in a couple of weeks."

UTV rear cab window,
August 17, 2009
By GreyJay

"I just put it on my 2005 Polaris Ranger XP and have a few comments. First, it would be a better product if it used adjustable clips instead of cinch straps - it would be faster to put on and take off. Second, the lower straps are a bit short - the material should be about 2-3 inches longer for easier use. Third, and most importantly, you can't use this with the fabric tops like the one I have that I purchased about two years ago from Cabela's. If you put the fabric top on first, there is no place to fasten the top of the rear window. If you put the rear window on first, you have no place to fasten the back straps of the top. I solved this by stitching on some extra straps with buckles on the rear window to which I attach the top's rear straps. About a hour of labor and $3.00 in materials. Should be an easy addition for the factory."

RZR wind stopper,
April 16, 2009
By rzrrider
from Utah
|
"The wind stopper is at least 8" short and does not reach from side to side. One line of stitching missed the fabric. Mounting was easy. This does not fit the Polaris rzr as well as I expected for the price. I would not buy this again for the rzr."

"It keeps dust from coming in at slow speeds but it needs to be an inch wider. It almost fits right inside the rails so when you drive at higher speeds the dust starts flying in."

Wind Stopper Good Value,
December 8, 2008
By toolfinder
from Pennsylvania
|
"The wind stopper UTV rear cab window fits the bill for my Polaris Ranger. It is a great value considering the manufacturer's rear window options start at $450! It keeps the wind and rain out and is easy to put on and take off. The only draw back I found is the fact that it is slightly too short to reach the entire length of the rear cab. It comes about an inch short on each end of the cab. The rear vinyl window could also be a few inches higher. Otherwise, I like it."

Wind Stopper UTV Rear Cab Window,
December 8, 2008
By MiniDonkeys
from Craig County, VA
|
"I purchased the Wind Stopper UTV Rear Cab Window for my Polaris Ranger 4x4 and it works great, especially since I can see what is behind me! I usually carry a couple of square hay bales in the back of my Ranger to feed my miniature donkeys and the hay would blow on the back of my head and clothing. It also stops the cold air and rain or snow from blowing on me. I'm so glad that I saw this item in the Cabelas catalog!"

Windstopper Rear Cab Window - Polaris Ranger,
December 8, 2008
By cbdGooseHunter
from Northern Virigina

"Great product at a fair price. I am running the back panel with a windshield and roof from Extreme Metal Products. The rear cab window works perfectly with this set-up. One suggestion - provide one more fastener strap at top center. Window goes on easily and is of high quality - Would recommend to anyone wanting an inexpensive high quality back window panel for a Polaris Ranger"

wind stopper utv rear cab window,
November 28, 2008
By Dave123456

|
"work as advertised
took a little longer to install properly, because we have a rear basket installed up there on our Ranger Crew model, and we wanted the wind stopper on the OUTSIDE of the cab, so that when rain hits it, it will drain down outside the cab and not down on people's back. We removed the rear bench seat, popped some holes in the windstopper for the rear head rests, and then strapped it on behind the rear seat, behind the head rests, but in front of the rear basket.
works fine stopping wind, and rain. don't think it really does much for dust, since the Ranger Crew has a wide expanse of open area on both sides - no doors, and, it hasn't rained here in west Texas for about 5 months.....very dusty
simple product works fine"

Ranger weather stopper,
October 6, 2008
By dmckenzie1
from Wasilla, Alaska
|
"I recently purchased a Polaris Ranger and had a roof and windshield installed. On our first moose hunt outing we traveled about 25 miles on a pretty dusty trail. Once back to camp, we were covered with dust from the wind creating a vortex and sucking dust into the cab. A week later, I ordered the Cabela's "Wind Stopper UTV Rear Cab Window". What a difference!. For about one tenth what it cost for a rear window, the wind stopper does the same job and can be installed in a matter of minutes. Oh yes, we hauled four moose quarters 30 miles out over rough terrain with them pushed up against the wind stopper. I was concerned about damage to it, but it didn't happen. They are well built as well!"

Wind Stopper UTV Rear window shortcomings,
September 6, 2008
By GAHatch
from Central Georgia
|
"Received item today, it is of good quility and fits well. Only problem as others stated, it is too short at botom and has no provisions for attaching material to top of Ranger roll cage. I will have to take it to local upholstery shop and have ~9-10" added to bottom and have a couple of straps added to top for securing. Otherwise it is a great buy for the money as opossed to overpriced Polaris Accessories."
