The corrosion-resistant hatch cover and flange feature an integral hinge and cam-latch closing system that combine with a weathertight O-ring seal to ensure stored items stay dry and protected. The hatches are designed for either vertical of horizontal installation and are structurally reinforced for heavy traffic areas. Comes with with dual cam latches.

"If you need a hatch but do not need a viewing window, this storage hatch works very well. Easy install. Even though it is "plastic" it is strong. I regularly stand on mine and at about 190#'s there is no noticeable give. The color choices also make it versatil."

"The hatch cover installed with little problems if you're used to doing such things. I recommend taking the templet they provide, placing it where you want to install it, and then drilling several (3 or 4) well spaced 1/4" diameter holes in the center area away from the path of your saber saw that will be cutting the edge pattern. After drilling each hole, place a 1/4" bolt through these "stablizer holes" and that will keep your templet from moving around as your saw walks around your templet. A 1/2"dia. hole or larger in each corner will allow you to make the radial turns you need to make. A good saw will only need 1 corner drilled. It's one strong unit and would recommend it to anyone. B"
