Taurus Judge Belt Holster,

"Well made holster that fits well. The snap from the belt loop is close to the retention strap snap, I released the belt loop snap once by mistake. That might be a training problem on my part."

Hunter Company Taurus Judge Leather Belt Holster,
July 15, 2008
By HagenDuz

"I bought the Judge primarily as a "snake gun" but had no way to carry it. This solves that problem. For wearing it in the yard, clearing brush it is the perfect compliment to your Judge. Keeps the pistol secure and well coverd to keep dirt out. I have to admit it was a little stiff at first but an application of saddle soap took care of that. One is most pleased."

Judge holster,
July 14, 2008
By Arizonabuffalo

"this is the 2nd holster I bought for this pistol (the first from Uncle Mike) and the holster from Cabela's fits just right. It keeps the gun easily in reach but out of the way when I'm hiking (the main reason for buying the gun)It is nicely made and holds the pistol at just the right angle and with just the right tension to keep it from moving around when I walk. I would highly recommend it - iin fact, I already have. Thanks again for another great product.

Judge Trail Holster,
June 30, 2008
By Gerimiah
from Pennsylvania
|
"Holster fits the gun very well. However, it is not a quick-draw holster; it's more like an on-the-trail holster. It takes both hands to use: One (left) to unsnap the guard strap that loops over the hammer while holding the hoster against the body, and the other (right) to slide the revolver out. Also, one has to take care not to unsnap the second lower strap that holds the holster attached to the belt. These problems may be allieviated as the holster "breaks in." However, I would not recommend this holster to some one in law enforcement or in any situation where speed of draw might be a necessity."

The Holster Doesn't Fit,
May 5, 2008
By Fauvist22
from Leeds, AL

"It was a well constructed leather holster. It would have stood up to a good deal of ware and tare, that's why I gave it a three star rating. However the holster didn't fit the gun at all. I even have the shorter barrel of all the Judge models. The gun would not seat down into the sheath or button over the hammer. It'll work for another gun, but it doesn't fit the Judge one bit."

HUNTER HOLSTER FOR TAURUS JUDGE,
April 22, 2008
By PINKIESDAD
from CHICAGO ILLINOIS
|
"IT'S A GOOD, NO FRILLS, COMON SENSE BELT HOLSTER. I'M CERTAIN IT WILL LAST MY LIFETIME. NOT STYLISH OR "TACTICAL" BUT TO CARRY THE GUN IN THE FIELD IT'S GREAT. THE GUN IS KEPT SECURELY IN HOLSTER WHICH IS IMPORTANT TO ME. I'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR FIELD USE"

leather 'Judge' holster,
April 8, 2008
By singleg
from Columbia, SC

"This is the cheapest leather holster I have ever seen. It has no professional finish and looks like someone cut some raw leather and sewed it into the shape of a holster. I would recommend that someone interested in a Judge leather holster, wait until other holster makers get into the market with theirs."

Class act that Works.,
February 19, 2008
By apple1

"A bow hunter needs a holster that's quiet! The Nylon/velcro are far from that. Also synthetic & leather that might have fit at Sportsman's Wharehouse, didn't really fit because of the cylinder size. They were too big and sounded "off" when attempting go get the Judge out of them. The Hunter Taurus Judge holster reflects traditional Cabela's "thinking things out" design and quality. Leather means it's quiet in a pack, on the hip, or in the saddlebag. It fit's the Judge like a glove too. Eventhough some of the cordura tout that they may keep the Judge cleaner & dryer, getting the judge out is slower then steam off horse apples. Hunter's leather holster is well designed for easy removal and replacement that equates to safety and smart hunting. The style also let's you work this holster from the hip by feel so the Judge can call the court to order in a hurry for a bow hunter that may be in need of his sid-arm. I'm a serious bow hunter... Looking over my shoulder whilst dressing and packing out elk in Bear and Cougar country will be much nicer now with this lightweight Cabela's product. I have gotten another solid value for the money. Couldn't be happier and recommend it highly. OUr horse saddles and pack gear is the best money can buy and this holster is on par with them. Thanks Cabelas!"
