"I bought these shoes in the retail store and loved the quality and fit. They are comparable to the brand name version but at a much better price. They have become my everyday shoes and I do a lot of walking and standing. When I saw them on sale on-line I bought another pair in another color, pennywise. Just wished I had bought another in black. If you find a pair in your size; grab it right away as you will find as I did they sell out quickly. I am hoping they will be offered again, I think they are a bargain even at Cabela's regular price."

"I have been looking for a shoe that buckled for years since my old Bass shoes wore out. When I saw these I thought they would work. I purchased two pairs in a half size larger (based on other reviews) and since I typically wear thick socks, I figured that would be best. I got them two days after I placed my order and they feel great. I have a hard to fit foot (narrow, high arches and high instep), but so far they seem to be very comfortable. For those who wear orthotics, the insole does not come out. The shoes seem to be constructed well and have a lot of cushioning. Hope they last as long as my last pair of buckle shoes."

"I love the look of this shoe, so I ordered them. From the moment I put them on, they fit like a glove and they are so comfortable. "i have a lot of problems with my feet. i buy shoes that feel good when i try them on in the store. but when i wear them after i get them home after a short while they hurt my feet and i cannot bring them back because i wore them outside. but not these shoes. i only take them off at night when i get ready for bed. my feet almost thank me every time i put them on. they are so comfortable. i plan on buying a couple more pairs because its not often that i find a good well made shoe that don't hurt my feet after walking around in them for more then a half hour. buy these shoes and you will love them. the price is also great."

"Great shoe that is roomy for my wide feet. Didn't expect this much room and I really enjoy that. Is a bit warm for the summer time but they are leather. Good leather at that. No break in time and felt as if I owned for some time. The tread is funky looking but I've had several compliments on them already. Wish the ballisters had fit as well. If you have a narrow foot, go for the Ballister. I'm hard on shoes but these are doing very well. Stitching is great and holding up where my big toe rubs now and then. Only problem I have, which is minor, is that I can feel the stitching on the inside of the insert,sole. But, generally, I don't feel it. I am considering buying another pair of the black and then the brown for jean day at work."

"I LOVE these shoes!! I have difficulty finding shoes that fit without that "break in " period. These were comfortable from the start. Almost felt like I had slippers on. "I have had problems in the past with less expensive shoes causing bunion pain. I stand all day at work, and was able to wear these shoes fresh from the box with no problems at all. They felt worn in from the first wearing. In fact, after work I ended up chasing my run away dog through the neighborhood in them, and it was if I was wearing tennies! The look is great; in fact, if I didn't know better, I would swear they are Born."
