"I purchased this in yellow for my preschooler. It is well made, and a good/functional size for preschool, kindergarten and travel. It has a small front pocket I put reminders for myself in. This pocket is a half circle about 7.5"L x 5.5"W x 1" deep at the deepest. It has a clip inside this pocket for keys or a luggage tag.
The reflecting material is very easy to see in low light.
The zippers move easily and don't get caught in the fabric, even if quickly opened and closed by little hands. The seams on the INSIDE of the bag are completely covered and finished with fabric. No fraying, even after washing!
The ONLY con: the straps for adjusting the shoulder straps are a little long. They hang down so long that they almost touch the ground. I will be shortening these myself, as the bag is so nice, I want him to continue to use it in kindergarten next year."

THIS IS AN WONDERFUL SIZED BOOK BAG FOR THE PRESCHOOLER, KINDERGARTENER, AND NOW FIRST GRADER! IT HAS HELD UP TO WASHING IT 2-3 TIMES A MONTH, TRIPS TO THE POOL, OR JUST PLAYING OUTSIDE. "My son loves this backpack. It is difficult to find one that works for a preschooler, most are way too big. My son is alittle on the small side for a 5 yr old and this one still fit perfectly. It is also very sturdy while still being lightweight. I will definately use this product again when my daughter is of school age and I have already recommended it to friends."
