"This is an excellent rifle. It really is everything that they say. The only annoying fault that I can find with it is the blinking red light. If I had designed it, then the light would only have glowed when the safety was released."

"I found the Electra to be of very high quality, after inital cleaning and installing a good scope. my first 3 shots were on paper @ 50yds with T7 and Hornadays. A little tweaking of the powder and scope and I was putting the 245 powerbelts in just over a 1" 3 shot group from the bench. I haven't tried the SST's yet but I think they too will be very good. The trigger is very smooth with just a slight creep but you can't feel a sear disengage. Recoil is moderate to heavy depending on amount of powder. There are no electronic terminals to break when disassembly is required for cleaning. Absolutely 0 blowback and the breechplug was not dirty after 25 shots. Cleanup is half the time of conventional inlines. I would have given it a 5 star rating but I don't like the flashing red LED although it is well positioned and the on/off switch is hard to turn with my old hands and arthur. I have several muzzleloaders and I would rank the Electra in the top 3 for accuracy,handling and quality. Thanks CVA"

"I have bought a ELECTRA in Stainless with the black synthetic stock. After fitting a decent scope it took me only about 15 shots to get it to group properly. Using 75 grain of South African Sannadex powder and 390 grain Sabots also made in South Africa, I am able to get a inch group at 100 yard. The best group obtained was only half an inch at the same distance. It works and loads like no other inline muzzle loader. If you have one of these rifles then you do not need any cartridge hunting rifle for Africa."

"The CVA muzleloader had a bad reputation with their barrels years ago. They have corrected that problem, I killed a buck at 200yds. The Power Belt bullet did't expand but the rifle shot well. The trigger-switch works well it is a little different,smooth as silk."
