"The fleece is silent. The Scentlok helps control your smell. So, right away you have weakened your quarry's defenses. The stretchy panels make the jacket comfortable and provides some give while drawing a bow so that you don't bind up in it at full draw. This is a well thought out, practical, and very useful product."

"Did everything I wanted it to...
1 kept me warm in northern michigan while sitting in tree stand for hours...our bow season goes till thanksgiving every year.
2 quiet
3 easily access to pockets if needed.
only complaint: mossy oak was my pattern of choice cuz everythng else I have is mossy oak...The pattern COLOR is much lighter than all other mossy oak pattern I have....I guess at 20 ft in a tree that really does not matter much.
Great product for the money"

""Overall"...the product is good. Constructive critisism wise. The pants fit very wide and baggy. I am 6'3", 220lb. "A" type body. I ordered a size down and shortened the shoulder straps and this improved them. Please note that there is no tall sizes in these pants. In order to get a matching jacket I would advise calling Cabelas to get up to date stock. Cabelas may wish to consider the directions of pocket zippers - gravity being what it is, the pockets sometimes creep open. In review, the product is true to its word the waterproof is such and the stretch fabric is in all the right places, great pants!"

"I was skeptical when I received this jacket and pants. Because of the heavy thickness and weight, I thought they would be too hot for SC. I tried them on a 50 degree day with high winds and I was not too hot. Next I used them on a 30 degree day and was very comfortable. I would rate them from 45 degrees and below. I removed the jacket when climbing to not overheat but sitting still they are a must! I harvested a old mature doe on the first night I wore the suit- I attribute this to the silence of the fleece: No Noise! This is a great cool weather suit and a must for the bow hunter's repertoire."

"I wore the jacket and pants for both bow and rifle seasons. I stalked to within 20-30 feet of several deer during rifle season through briars and thick brush without a sound. The clothes shed all but the really stubborn little stickers as well. I would recommend these to anyone. You will need to make sure to dress in layers depending on the weather."

"You gotta love this jacket. Its simple, the camo(mossyoak treestand) blends well in all my stands, it has just enough pocket room for what I take to the woods. This jacket is the quietest thing on the market. The only thing wrong with it is that the chest pockets aren't easily excessible, but they are useable, and you can get into them with a packframe on if necessary. Compared to what's on the market its the best mid to late season jacket available."

"This pattern is really great. Its weaved into a 3d pattern. The leaves and branches standout in the fleece material. I found it warm,soft and the best of all silent! I wear it with layered clothing for the late season. It has ample deep pockets with zippers for all the hunting stuff you need on your hunt. And to top it all off it's "Scent Lock"material. It's all you need for the serious bow hunt!"

"I ordered this and two other jackets at the same time, looking for a just-right bowhunting coat for early to mid season in Oklahoma. I found this coat had the best combination of body fit for a tall, relatively slender guy like me; total silence under all conditions; and usable pockets. In addition, it has scent control, which I considered a bonus. The coat appears only moderately warm, and I have not yet worn it hunting on a truly cold morning, as we've had a warm fall here in Oklahoma. Tall sizes are usually the best choice for me, as I'm 6'1" tall with arms that prever a 36-inch sleeve length. Even though this coat is not a "tall" size, it is a great fit. Thumbs up to Cabelas on this one. I also ordered the Outfitter's Wooltimate™ WindShear™ Jacket and the Outfitter's Fleece WindShear™ Jacket in Tall. Neither of these other two jackets had the same combination of attributes for me. My reviews on those jackets are filed with those products My only concern with the bowhunter extreme jacket is the zippers seem a bit flimsy and cantankerous, but I hope if I'm careful with them they'll last many years."

"Very good jacket for mid season hunting. Very quiet, well made. The camo pattern (MONB) is colored lighter than my other camo in the same pattern. The jacket is very well fitted, and the zippered sleeves are perfect for bowhunting. If you layer up wisely, you could wear this jacket in cold conditions. Would give it 5 stars if the camo color was darker, but that's just my preference."

Great All Season Outfit,September 13, 2008

"If you are looking for a well made Scentlock fleece outfit that you can wear bowhunting, rifle and muzzlelaoder seasons then you have found the perfect set. Don't be fooled by the "bowhunter" label, this is the perfect weight for all season, especially if you do a lot of hiking. I hunt in VT and NY primarily and will wear this through December with proper layering. I am 6'5" and typically require Tall sizes, but the selection is limited so I was very glad to find that the Bowhunter Extreme is generously cut and very oversize. The jacket is long in the body and sleeves and the pants are elastized around the waist and even though they state a 31" inseam (and I wear a 34) they are plenty long. If you are a big and tall type, these fit much better than the Scentlock Full Season and Timberfleece 360. I also tried Rivers West and Sitka 90% and they are all cut very short, especially the pants. I bought these on sale and was limited to the Mossy Oak pattern in my size...the camo is slightly lighter in color than other Mossy Oak patterns I have, and while I actually wanted to get Realtree AP, this lighter shade of Mossy Oak is close in color to Realtree AP. The quality of construction, stitching, zippers, etc. is much better than others I have tried. Order it today!!!"

"Owned this coat for 1 yr...wore the heck out of it bowhunting only in 07. Great coat for Michigan weather, a bit warm for early season but overall good coat for MI. Like the zipper on the forearms do not need to wear arm guard because of this, keeps things tight to you arm. Gives you very good movement for drawing a bow and plenty of pockets to utilize for your gear. I would buy it again and again..I have it in the Realtree HD love the camo too. Great job on this one."
