The secret to this stand's versatility is in the adjustable, C-shaped padded armrest. Loosen the
thumbscrews, and the armrest and custom-fit blind enclosure extend out to serve as a padded shooting rail.
Armrests lower and widen the midsections for the extra space you need for bowhunting. Pockets inside the blind
keep essential gear organized and readily accessible. The newly designed Buck Buster uses Ameristep's patent-
pending Backbone Truss Technology System, an innovative concept that eliminates the stabilizer bar found on other
stands. Instead, a compression-lock system secures the stand to the tree and also tightly holds the sections
together to eliminate shifting. Both the ladder and stand are constructed of durable powder-coated steel. The
ultrahide slim ladder's midsection is 9-1/2" wide for extra concealment. A large sling-style seat provides the
comfort and support you need for long days of hunting. The spacious platform measures 26-3/4" x 28" and is 18-ft.
high to the shooting rail when fully assembled. Stealth strips with an Edge Releaf® leafy pattern and three-part
magnetic camo ladder skirt break up the outline for added concealment. Includes double footrest, hoist rope and a
bow/gun holder. Stand is tested to TMA standards and includes a full-body harness tested to TMA standards.

Ameristep Buckbuster Treestand,
October 28, 2008
By OralEngineerfrom Orchard Park NY
"I recently purchased this stand and was concerned about some previous reviews stating how difficult it was to assemble....."assembly directions are terrible" I read. Not true.........followed directions which worked well.....took almost 3 hours from start until against tree and ready to hunt. It is extremely sturdy once positioned but it does take 3 guys to raise it up to the tree. I love this comfortable stand."

Ladder Stand,
October 22, 2008
By BRUCKfrom El Centro, CA
"I recently purchased this stand and am very happy with it so far.
I got it because it looked sturdy and had a weight capacity of 300 lbs.
It weighs about 87 lbs so it sin't something that you want to carry all over the woods or change location on alot unless you have lots of friends. (only neg)
Once set up, it is sturdy and easy to get into. At 18' you have a true birdseye view!
The seat is very comfortable but you will have to stand up every once in a while to stretch and to keep from falling asleep!
When I do stand up and manuver as if to take a shot, the stand doesn't wobble so I feel secure.
I would recommend this stand very highly."

Team Realtree 18' Buck Buster Ladder Stand,
October 21, 2008
By huntinhornsfrom NC
"All mention the uselessness of the instructions, they are confusing at best. A bit heavy but worth the weight. Otherwise there is nothing bad to say about this stand. Very solid and quiet. Very comfortable seat. Two kills in two hunting days with deer less than 10 yards from this stand. I would definitely buy another one these stands."

Buck Master Ladder Stand,
October 20, 2008
By MaineHunter101from Dixfield, ME
"I really like this stand it's sturdy, doesn't make any noise, easy to climb before strapping to tree. The directions were a little hard to follow and I did have a couple bolts missing I called and they shipped them right out no questions asked. I would definetly recommend anyone to buy this stand."

18' Buckbuster,
October 14, 2008
By mpbowhunterfrom Southwestern, PA
"I found this stand to be time consuming to assemble. The directions included in the box are worthless. I found the directions off of the internet to be much better. It took me about an hour to assemble the stand and about another hour for two people to put it up. I would reccommend having three people when attempting to put it up. Once it was up, the stand was very solid. I do like the height and the size of the platform. However, I do not like the narrow ladder. A person's feet barely fit on the ladder with a pair of hunting boots on."

A bit Cumbersome,

"Excellent stand once assembled and up in tree. A few points: it has narrow steps, directions are confusing, very heavy, need to leave this up all year round."

Great Stand,
September 22, 2008
By RobbieSfrom Vilonia, Arkansas
"As everyone else has mentioned, the directions are pretty much non-existent. Use the picture and you can get it set up pretty easily. Once up, it is a great stand, with the extra height. Very quiet and comfortable for a long day of hunting. Easy to make an all day hunt on this stand. I would buy again and highly recommend. The extra height is nice as well."

NEED INSTRUCTIONS!!!,
September 3, 2008
By TWMiddlefrom Georgia
"I was torn when trying to rate this one because I gave it a "0" from the time I took it out of the box until hours & hours later when I finally figured out how to put it together, but then I gave it a "5" once on the tree. If you are not extremely mechanically inclined, buy a different stand. Not only are the instructions that come with this stand not helpful at all, I actually found them somewhat misleading. The diagrams are impossible to follow, and in fact, at least one is wrong. After putting the stand together twice incorrectly while trying to use the instructions, I finally threw them away, laid out the pieces & built it as I thought it was supposed to be built. I was pleased with the stand when I finally got it onto a tree. It is a good height & so far feels very solid. I like the magnetic leaf strips used to camouflage the ladder; I just hope the magnets are strong enough to hold the strips on during storms. I also like the blind that came with it, although it doesn't seem to fit like the one pictured on the box. Bottom line, it's a good stand but was a huge headache for me from the box to the tree."

Pleasantly surprised:,

By Garst6from MI
"This is a very nice stand for the money. I read the reviews and agree the directions are not the best, but it was still very easy to put together. Once set up it is very solid and comfortable. I have not had the opportunity to hunt out of it yet, but I'm confident it will work out well."

bigger platform?,

"I think this is the perfect height stand, but I wish it had a bigger platform and a trap door like on the sky scraper model, why not a hybrid/combine the two?"
