"I own 3 torque reels and to be honest can't see myself ever buying anything else. Velvet smooth, reliable and beautiful reels. I have landed many steelhead in California and Oregon, fished in the salt with them and slammed them around on the sand, rocks and trees, they just keep on humming. Also a nice feature about the torque is how quiet they are. If you are one who fishes a lot of stillwater or spring creeks then this reel is perfect for you as their is virtually no sound to spook weary fish. Can't recommend them enough, not to mention my buddy who guides uses them exclusively because they hold up better than the ross equivalent."

"I have the T4 in bronze and it smokes any other reel.........and I've got plenty of 'em from every maker out there. I have it teamed up a piece of 8' bamboo and oh what a pleasure to use. I have fished all over the mid-atlantic and mid-west for trout and smallies. Its been beat on everything from rocks to the bottom of boats and it always performs flawlessly.
Some equiptment I have used disappointed me and made me wonder where the heart and soul fly fishing had gone. Well, with this reel, it's back! I am back to enjoying my time on the water with a piece of finely crafted equipment....and it's exactly what fly fishing was meant o be.

"Elegant reel yet solidly built! I've had the Galvan Torque 5 matched with a Loomis GLX streamdance and both have performed flawlessly for the last 3 years. The look, the balance, and the value of this Galvan cannot be beat. No need to buy an Abel, Bauer, or even a Ross for me. If you want a top end reel without that ridiculous price - go with the Galvan Torque."

"I have an OB2, OB3, OB4, OB5, and T8. They are simply the finest reels made, in my opinion. Aesthically pleasing, durable, and reliable in any fishing condition.
