"I have only used this collar a few times but so far it has been awesome. Great range and the dog responded great. They are a little heavy and the dog has it figured out that he can still be a brat when the collar comes off...but it has helped me out a lot so far...would recommend this product to anyone who needs a training collar!!!"

"I purchased this collar to use in the yard for training purposes. I have another DT collar that I have used for hunting for 4 seasons now and I have been very pleased with that one. For the price these collars have several good features such as the range and being waterproof. The hard storage case is real nice for travelling and off season storage. The rise feature is real useful for a stubborn dog. The collars are real stiff and take a little extra time to get on the dogs. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend this collar."

"I brought this collar system to replace an EDT 200. One of the front buttons on the EDT pushed through. The H2O's case and buttons seem a little more sturdy than the EDT's, thus far. The H2O has a separate button for vibrate which the EDT doesn't. They both have DT's vibrate feature, which is nice instead of having to shock your dog every time. I checked out the Tri-tronics too. They are much better built, but they don't have vibrate and the gradual increase in shock settings that the DT's do. They're also much more expensive. DT's big marketing piece on the H2O series was the jump and rise feature. However jump and rise is ONLY to be found on the 1830 model, but which has no vibrate."
