H2O 1820 Dog Collar,October 20, 2009
By Fishcwfrom Iowa
"I have found this to be a very good collar. The only thing I do not like about the collar is one of the collars is orange. If you hunt both retrivers in a duck or goose situation you have to change the orange one to a collar that is not so visible."

DT H2O 1820 Dog Collar,February 6, 2009
By CaDuckHuntfrom Escalon, California
"I rate this negative one star for customer service. I sent in the $20 rebate coupon to DT and never received it. 3 calls to DT were not returned. I would hate to rely on them if a problem occurs with the collar. As for the collar, it works okay but the antenna is way too long. It gets in the way if the transmitter is hanging around your neck. I recommend the Dogtra 200 gold hunter instead."

Great gift,February 7, 2008
By tommyzfrom PA
"I owned a DT before and I had it for almost 9 years with now problems and it still works great. I bought a new dog and I needed a 2 dog system so I kept with the same brand. So far it works great with the same quality craftsmenship as the one I bought 9 years ago"

Excelent,June 11, 2007
By HDGEAST
"This is a good trainning aid. I eally like the vibrate feature over others that tone, my dog would not pay any atention to the tone. But when I hit the vibrate they take note and I do have to shock. I have only used the shock ONE TIME."

DT Systems H2O 1830,November 30, 2006
By Annonfrom Colorado
"The 1830 has DT's new jump and rise feature. If your dog doesn't heed the first warning you can either jump to a higher setting or gradually rise to a higher setting until he takes note. I personally prefer the vibrate feature found on the 1820 model. DT's big marketing piece on the H2O series is the jump and rise feature, but it is only to be found on the 1830 model."

Ruined Hunting Trip,November 21, 2006
By Frenchy5383from Brillion, WI
"I used my DT Systems H20 1820 training collar with good results as a corrective device during training sessions. However, when I put it on my dog the first day of a 6-day pheasant hunt, after less than an hour afield, the dog came back with the collar on, but no receiver attached. How he lost it is a mystery because we did not cross through any wire fences, nor were we in heavy brush - just tall grass and bullrushes. Trying to find the receiver to reattach it was a hopeless endeavor so I was forced to do the remainder of the hunt without my electronic controller. I called the company phone number listed on the carrying case but never got to speak with anyone - just listened to a lot of recorded messages. When I got back home, I returned the unit for repairs, which I hope will be cost-free to me, except that I am still out the $15 shipping and insurance cost, and I did not have the use of my system the one time of the year when I wanted it most."

DT Systems H20 1820 Series Training Collar,November 21, 2006
By cyclicphotophosphorylatorfrom Greenville, pa
"One flaw. Under normal yard use, one of the rivits on the collar snaped two days after I got it.
Overall, the product functions wonderfully. works well wet or dry. the vibration feature is a great feature that puts another training tool in your bag."
