QAD Ultra-rest hunter,

"Great rest. My only complaint is that it does not fall away fast enough to totally avoid contact with the fletching. I would not hesitate to recommend this rest to a friend or get another one for myself."

Great Product,
February 22, 2010
By IBlackburn

"This product was a great addition to my Mathews. If I had known it was going to work as well as it does and was of this quality, I would have gotten one a long time ago. One thing I like about it vs. the Ripcord models is that when you come to full-draw and let down it stays upright. Overall great product for any price range!"

Drives nails,
January 4, 2010
By Alvordbowman
from Alvord, TX
|
"I put this rest on my bow following the instructions on the DVD readjusted my micro adjust on my sights and was driving nails in an hour. The only complaint I would have would be the felt no sticking to the rest. A little bit of fletching glue solved the issue. Improved my accuracy."

not a great rest,
November 29, 2009
By rkh1116
from brazil, indiana
|
"i dont hate this rest, but am looking for a new one. i had to remove the capture arm that keeps the arrow from coming out of the fork because my tall blazer vanes were hitting it and you can not adjust it. thats not too big of a deal cause the fork is so tall the arrow isn't going anywhere anyways. also the rest is pretty noisy, as much money as we all spend to silence our bows, i just dont like the added noise that i havent been able to figure out how to get rid of. again not a terrible rest but im not happy with it."

By jbm3

"alot of reveiws say this rest is too slow but my friend has it on his mathews shooting over 300 fps and ive seen it work fine on the mathews reezen so its not too slow those people just dont know how to tune there bows. but this is a great rest full containment which i need and it is relatively quite for a drop away. over all probably the only drop away rest i would ever think about buying."

Awesome rest,
October 13, 2009
By rpxr400
from Easton, Pa
|
"After being out of bowhunting for about 20 years, I decided to get back into it, and upgrade the bow with better gear this year, and maybe next year - upgrade the bow. After being torn between this and the whisker biscuit, I went this route. regardless of what they say, ANY drag on an arrow is going to slow it down. This rest is awesome. just make sure it's set up right, and it does as advertised. I have shot a couple hundred arrows through it, and have not had to make a single adjustment to it at all. I can see maybe needing to make an adjustment if the string stretches or moves on the cable, but so far, all is well. Forget the biscuit - get this rest!"

QAD fall away rest,
October 7, 2009
By SoCalSteve
from SoCal
|
"This rest works great for me. I can use it like a traditional rest or I can lock it in the up position so I do not have to worry about the arrow falling off when I draw. It falls away perfectly. Some guys complained about contact with fletching. If you bow is in the top range of the speed spectrum, a different rest might be for you. The rest is really quiet, but I do not hunt deer, but I think this rest is super quiet. For the price, this rest can't be beat!"

Slow Clearance,
September 30, 2009
By pbonne
from LA
|
"This rest moves too slow for fletchings to clear. It shoots ok with field points, but with the broadheads the slight contact between the rest and fletchings causes a bad grouping. Going back to a NAP 1000."

rest,
September 15, 2009
By ryan78
from West Virginia
|
"The rest works great and was very easy to install. The only issue I have with it is if I draw my arrow back while in the down position the arrow has a tendency to fall off the rest, but as long as manually put the rest in the up position it works great."

awsome,

By unrextinction

"i bought this rest with hopes of using it with FOB's but i noticed that instead of my accuracy getting better, it got worse. i pulled out my camera and filmed myself shooting and recorded it in fast frame video. my fobs were actually hitting my rest and shooting them all over the place. however, this rest is a miracle with regular fletching. im shooting excellent. 40 yard shots are easy."

To Slow for Fast Bow,
September 4, 2009
By Speed5152
from Illinois
|
"Purchased this thinking the concept was good but it's just to slow for a fast bow. Will not drop away fast enough and have damaged several arrows as a result. Have worked and worked with timing but just can not get it adjusted. Would not buy again ."

QAD drop away,
August 20, 2009
By ICEROGUE
from upstate, ny
|
"I have shot this rest for about 2 years. I shoot a PSE Rogue X @ about 322 fps, 27 3/4in gold tip 5575 w/ 85gr tip, 3in 4% R vains. I have had a bit of clearenc issues with the containment arm but if you twist your nocks just right you will be fine. I have had no issues with this rest not falling quick enough. if you tip your prongs forward a bit put a piece of cloth on your shelf and keep a fresh piece of mole skin on there you will have no noise issues.
good product! put some time into your equipment and let it work for you

This Is Junk if you Have a Fast Bow,
August 17, 2009
By Pooreboy
from WV
|
"BAD REST Look I just purchased a Mathews Reezen. I thought this rest would be a perfect rest to use for hunting, while gettting the drop away feature all in one. I was wrong my brother has this rest and his bow is a little slower it works fine. But my bow is putting an arrow out over 300fps and it just aint working my fetching rub every time i shoot. Just stay away from this rest if your shooting over 300fps with your arrow."
