"first time trying slip on work boots. no brake in time they felt good the first day I worked in them. the only thing they did was to rub the hair off my leg, where the top of the boot is. I all so wear a size 101/2 D and I had to go up to an 11 D to get them to fit like my old lace up work boots. I have been wearing work boots for 29 years on a concrete floor"

"Great boots, feels comfortable from the day you put them on. Warm and waterproof, this winter was cold and snowy but these boots were warm and dry. Would recommend this boot to everyone, in fact where I work there seems to be a growing number of these boots around!"

"These boots look great and are made very well. They break in well and and are comfortable. However the boots are very narrow. I have a narrow foot and found myself ordering these boots one half size larger than normal and putting different insoles in in order to get them to fit correctly. Now that I have the sizing right they are very comfortable."

"I purchaced the Gore-Tex Steel toed Badlands 11". The boot is comfortable and keeps my feet warm and dry. I work in and around water and this boot is well suited for the conditions. The only thing that i would change about this boot would be to make it a little more lighter."

"These boots are manufactured too narrow. I wear a D width normally, but even a EE in these were too narrow.
I sent them back and replaced them Rocky's Cody boot. Much more comfortable."

"I really like the boots and they fit well. I would recommend them to anyone needing steel toed water resistant boots. I would give them 5 stars except the left one rubs my calf raw where the pull strap is attacted on the inside of the boot. The pull strapps on the right boot doesn't seem to be a problem"

"I bought these boots for work where I spend 8 to 16 hours a day. Living in my boots all day long, they have to be comfortable because work is bad enough to have to deal with sore feet! Although I dont always purchase wide boots, I did in this case and I actually think they are narrower than a "D" width. The boots themselves looked really tough and durable, just too narrow for me!"

"These boots looked ok but the quality was not anywhere near what the ad stated in the Cabelas catalogue. This was also a very narrow "wide" boot. I wear an 11 EE width and these were way to narrow to be comfortable. The quality of the leather also looked too fragile for working on our Arkansas ranch. Go elsewhere for a quality workboot..."

"For some time, I had been considering purchasing a pair of western boots and had been looking in stores and catalogs. When I saw the 11' Wellington steel toe picutred in the Cabelas catalog and read the description, I decided to give them a try. I knew, from prior experience, that Cabelas would work with me if I was not satisfied with the product. From the first time I slipped them on, I knew that I had made the right decision. The boots looked great, and fit even better. They were easy to walk in and work in, from that first day. The fit was exact, the comfort exceptional, and the ruggedness demonstrated itself as I wore the boots in all kinds of weather and situations. Whenever I wear these boots, I get compliments and questions about where I found them. The best came from my teen-age nephew, who watched me slip into them before a trip into town, turned to his dad, and said. "I'd love a pair of boots like those"."
