"Berkleys whole line of soft baits just got over powered by gulp. Effective, but hard to get a good hookset on. Lost many fish, went through a lot of them, cant use on some special regulation trout streams here in northeast iowa. Now, the positive, fish absolutely crush this lure when they are feeding. Best used with fused line so the line does not sink. Throw one of these little guys in the current, twitch every now and then, and enjoy the success."

"I love these lures, I have an entire tackle box full of these in different sizes and colors and different sized/colored jig heads. I have trolled with them, jigged with them, and even just thrown them in on a bobber and caught what ever was there. I have caught the following fish species with this lure: salmon, waleye, northern, muskie, bass of every kind, catfish, and some how I even intised a carp to latch on to it once. This is a highly recommended lure!!!"
