"I wanted a gun sock for my m/p .40 and I wanted Made in USA quality. Of course I found it at Cabelas. Looks like Allen makes these for Cabelas in the USA. And to top it off You get Cabelas name printed on them. I ve always been proud to shop at Cabelas and to have gear with their name on it makes it easier to show it off.."

Simple and inexpensive protection,

"This gun sock provides simple and inexpensive protection for my guns and extra gun barrels. I would not necessarily recommend it for transferring a gun on a trip because the cushioning factor is limited. However, for storage at home it provides protection against moisture and dust. For my intended use it works well."

"these gun socks are great. i have read that some people were saying that they are too tight on their rifles and they should be be bigger. these people obviously did not buy the wide ones that are intended for use with larger guns and scopes. i have bought 4 of the wide ones to use with large caliber guns with 50mm objectives and there was room to spare. the regular scoped rifle ones worked fine with my 17 cal and 22mag with 40mm scopes."

"A great way to keep your guns scratch-free and in a silicone protected place. Not perfect and you still need to maintain, clean and oil your guns. But, it's a great way to get a bit of protection for your investments."

"the socks do a great job of protecting my firearms from Dings & dents as my gun vault is getting a little crowded(which is a good thing). The only down side is it is a little awkward using them on scoped rifles. Even though they fit it is a snug fit."
