"Great quality, great price, too long for a home security shotgun. I purchased this to use with my Mossberg 590 Special Purpose (a standard stock, not pistol-grip) and it's really too long. But, it appears to be high quality and I'm going to live with the extra length."

"My gun safe is in my garage and is a light weight style so my weapons are exposed to the temperature variations in my garage (about 110 to about 30) each year. So I have been thinking that a sock might keep my guns from rusting. I've only had them on my guns for the last month, but so far they look like they will work very well. The socks are the right size for various length weapons, including handguns. They are silicon treated and close on the end. For the price I feel they deliver the protection I was looking for. I looked at other more expensive types, but these seemed to work just fine."

"These socks are perfect for the guns I don't use that often, and are easy to use with the rifles I actively use. Light and durable with the socks on my rifles still easily fit into a travel case. I have caught my sights a few times pulling them on and off, but no snag has developed. Overall a great bit of extra protection."
