"I purchased a set of the polartec consisting of the crew and thermal pants as I was set to be outside for 12-14 hours. I am thin-blooded and do not tolerate cold well and was absolutely dreading our training. Training day arrived and of course, it was one of the colder days here in NC. Drizzled all day as well. I will say that the Polartec held up well- better than anticipated! I was going through a Dept of Correction firearms training course and shot over 160 shots in 25 degree windchill conditions and hit 146 targets. I shiver if it's 50 out so I would highly recommend buying these products!"

Love this top,

"Just love this top. Very warm and fit is as described. A little tight around the wrist so you really can't push them up but still love it. I am a courier and drive overnight, in and out of vehicle. I wear this under my uniform and fleece jacket, keeps me nice and toasty. Finally found long underwear for women!! Just what I needed for these COLD Indiana days and nights."

"I got these to wear for work. I am in and out all day and I hate to be cold. I have stayed toasty warm in these thermals. I am 5'4", 135lb. I first bought a medum top and bottom. It fits but there's not much room for manuvering. I then bought the large top and bottom which allows for better movement while working."

"This is the second set I have purchased. This time I bought only the tops because at times I wear them as a shirt and the bottoms do not get dirty as fast underneath my jeans or snowpants. I plan on getting another full set as I tend to get wet in the snow. I purchased my first set one year ago and they have kept me warm and toasty. I love the Wisconsin winters (my favorite time is midnight outside looking at the stars and having quiet time with my animals) and these work for me whether I am working with the horses, taking a walk, ice fishing or hunting or riding motorcycles on cold nights. Nice fit and comfortable with no binding. I especially like the slight v-neck on the tops. (I do not like turtle necks or t's that are up around my neck.) Try them, I think you will like them."

"Based on previous reviews I purchased the Polartec Heavyweight insulated underwear. I did buy it a little large and found that once the Polartec was washed it fit just like I wanted it to. It is warm, although I think that I should have purchased the warmest set of insulated underwear. I wear mine all the time INDOORS during the winter in Indiana. If I go outside, I add several more layers of clothing. Maximum warmth is important to me and the Polartec while not perfect is definitely an improvement over anything else that I have tried."

"I purchased the Women's MTP Polartec Heavyweight crew and pants to wear on a 300 mile motorcycle trec to Outer Banks, NC. They are quite comfortable and I could lounge in them as PJs, too, if I so desired!! However, I must say that the waist area of my medium pants was a bit oversized. I had to roll them down at the waist, all the style I'm told by my 21 yr. old, but not practical all in all in jeans because they came above the waistline in three pairs that I tried. I'm 5'3" with a 29" waist and wear an average to long inseam in most pants, so I thought this to be unusual for an average sized item. The warmth and comfort was quite above the standard "long johns" and I was very pleased overall!!"

"I bought this to wear during my recent trip to SE Alaska and it was just what I needed. It fits well, is very soft, moves well and looks good enough to wear alone if I get too warm and need to remove layers. I spent most of my time on boats, sometimes active (fishing) and sometimes not (enjoying the views) and stayed comfortable and warm the entire time. The temperatures varied from 50-68 degrees. I also bought the matching pants."
