out, thanks to our update on a classic coat style. Our barn coat is made with 12-oz. cotton canvas fabric that's been
garment-washed for a soft, broken-in feel. The lining is made from 6-1/2-oz. yarn-dyed cotton flannel. Compare that
to the competition's barn coat, which has only 10-oz. canvas fabric and lightweight, cheap flannel lining. Our barn
coat also features a cotton corduroy collar and cuffs with two large bellows pockets with handwarmer pockets behind.
There are two large chest pockets for storing all the tools or accessories you might need. The coat has one interior
pocket for storing valuables and button-adjustable cuffs. Sure to be a favorite. Machine washable. Imported.

"the jacket is great but. I do have a problem with your sizing. 34-36 I would normally expect to be to small for me as I am about 37-38 chest. however your size M 38-40 is pretty big for me. Otherwise OK. Best wishes."

"I tried barn coats from two other companies. Neither had the thick, stiff feel of heavy, durable canvas that I was looking for. This coat's canvas isn't stiff, either, and that disappointed me a little at first, since I wanted to fee that I'd be breaking it in uniquely for myself. But when I put it on, I got over the feeling almost immediately. It certainly feels hefty enough for the light jacket it is; and—I must be exactly the same size as the design model for this coat—because it fits me *perfectly.*
Mine is black, and it's just what I want for workdays and weekend tooling around. But I'm thinking of getting another one in the Saddle color for doing actual work around the house, so that I can keep the black one nice."

"Live in CA and need a durable coat for the commute, site visits to check on my crews, and errands around town. This coat fits the bill and looks great, especially for the price. The many pockets are handy, but as another reviewer mentioned, the buttons need reinforced. My wife was a sweetheart and sewed them with sturdy thread. This is the only fault with the coat and I was rather surprising given the other high quality products by Cabela's. It's perfect for cool weather, but not cold weather."

"I've been wearing this for a month now and I really like it. My only advice is to really consider what size to buy. Seems like all sizes are getting larger (along with the average US waistline) and this coat feels a half size big. Having said that, if you plan to wear bulky clothes underneath, it will be perfect."

"The Barn Coat is durable, well designed and can be worn for work or casual with kakhis, jeans and a sweater. The inside pockets and two secured outside breast pockets are an excellent feature. Side pockets are generous.
This coat can be worn in cool weather and probably in the winter too with a shirt and sweater under.
I liked my Cabela Ranch Coat so well for winter that I knew the Barn Coat would be excellent. Cabela's sizes are generous. Usually I buy an extra-large size but both Cabela coats I bought are the large-size and fit fine.
Buttons should be sewn on more securely but this is a simple task I can do myself. Check buttons so they aren't lost. This in no way detracts from my recommendation that others buy a Barn Coat. Quality is superb and price is the usual Cabela good value."
