"I work on the south tip of Manhattan island in NYC and love to go walking along the Hudson River at lunchtime. I keep the 806's under my desk and many times "forget" to take them off after my lunctime walk.
I have two brands of footwear that I trust for quality, reasonable price and consistent fit; New Balance and Rockport.
Most of my "sneakers" are New Balance and I was very pleased to start using the 806's. They are just right for city walking... light but not flimsy, grey-colored to not advertise dirt and exceedingly comfortable to walk in.
It's too early to tell but, judging from the construction of the soles and the uppers, I expect these "All Terrains" will deliver a good return on my not-insignificant investment."

"These are good running shoes. Most of my workouts are on a gravel road, and I need the aggressive tread to reduce slipping. They do a good job. You will have a hard time finding a better running shoe for the money."

"I use these daily for a 5 and a quarter mile Jog/walk up hill and down. The cushioning in the foot and instep definitely save my knees and helps to make irregularities on the trail become less of an obstacle. I'm leaving on a 60 mile Sierra Nevada backpacking trip and will take them with me for side trips to favorite off trail fishing lakes. I would definitely buy another pair when these wear out."

"Very Good padding & traction. They work well as a summer hiking shoe. I live in the Northwest where we get a lot of drizzle. These shoes are great jogging shoes for guys that are more concerned with safety than speed. They grip very well on wet surfaces but of coarse they are heavier than regular running shoes."

"Returning these for refund. Fit was okay, but just walking on my carpeted floors, it felt like I was walking on concrete. No cushion at all. If you need to be on your feet all day, these will not do."
