"This is an excellent metal battery tray that holds batteries up to and including Group 31 size.

The loose battery problem mentioned by the reviewer above can be easily remedied simply by running the strap through one slot from the inside out, then under the tray - which is raised about 1/4" when screwed down - then through the other slot from the outside in. This will secure the battery to the tray and there will be no movement."

"It appears that this design with slots will allow a battery to bounce up and down in extreme conditions and extreme conditions are the reason we need good trays.
The bottom of the strap needs to be isolated from the battery.
I suggest attaching the ends of the straps to the slots."
