"I got them in red and they are superb. The walleyes are not as scared of the red hooks and take them in quite readily. They take them deeper into their mouths, I've been noticing. If you need trebles these work very well."

"These hooks are scary sharp right out of the box and the design of these hooks are awesomely effective for hooking and holding the fish. The strength is unparalleled without having to sacrifice making them more thicker like some other brands I have used. I can't say enough about how happy I have been with these hooks trust me you wont be disappointed if you give them a try I have not used the red ones I don't really prefer my hooks to be red its just a personal preference"

"Was pretty impressed, have been using Owner 5636-073's in a # 4 size to replace the treble hooks on my crankbaits used in saltwater. These hooks seemed to handle the saltwater along with the fish quite well."

"You want sticky? These hooks are sticky! So far, on the lures upon which I have placed these, I've had 6 strikes, and landed 6 fish. Awesome product, nearly as good as VMC's Barbarian out-barb hooks."

"I use VMC Barbarian Hooks on all my crankbaits. The hook up rate grately improved and if a fish just bumps the bait they are hooked. Super sharp and designed to hold a fighting fish better than a regular hook. Sure worth the money..."

"I make my own custom Bass lures, and I want the very best hooks that I can find! When I get a strike, I catch the fish! The hook design really holds onto the fish! Really a great design! Since changing to this style of hook I find that I rarely have a fish throw the lure before I get them to the boat!"
