"I looked at all of the offerings that were long-sleeve, synthetic for quick drying, and had an SPF rating.
I am very happy with this shirt. I bought a large and glad I didn't go XL,I have a 45" chest, this has plenty of room.
Nice features.
I wish the front pockets had more secure velcro or something....I feel like my cell phone would fall out if I lean too far.
Happy with my purchase."

"I got this shirt for my backpacking trip to the Michigan UP this summer. This shirt is very light and could stuff down to nothing in my pack when I was not wearing it. The nylon fabric, while very soft and light, blocked the evening breezes coming in off Lake Superior so that most evenings I was comfortable without needing a jacket or fleece. Even on the warm evenings, it kept the bugs at bay without me getting hot. This is an amazingly versatile shirt - I love this shirt!"

"this one is my 7th Bahama II shirt, than I can't say there's really someting wrong.
just a few personal opinions about (I hope Columbia will read) :
- fabric seems to have early wear and tear when scratches on nylon straps (i.e. chest packs, wirst watch) or Velcro of rain jacket's closure.
- front pockets may need a larger Velcro closure, sometimes you have to double check or you're likely to see your cell phone jump off on the stream
- small pockets on front pockets, too small to accomodate most of the gear I need, no closure at all : too easy to loose anything in."

"Bought this shirt for a Bahamas bone fish trip. Also bought the Caribou Creek angler shirt. I give the Caribou creek a slight edge because of it's additional side venting. More effective than just the back venting of this shirt. There really was a noticeable difference in cooling. Overall though a good shirt. If they have a color you want then buy it"

"I purchased my second Columbia Bahama shirt after wearing the first one several times in sweltering weather and it kept me from getting the usual severe sunburn we fair skinned Irishmen get when pursuing our outdoor sports.
