"I went by the prior reviews on Tear Aid and I was not disappointed. I used it on a pop up camper but before I did I took a piece and just plain tried to destroy or rip it.
Its not happening. Everyone laughed at me for waiting on shiping of this product instead of going to the local boat store and using their brand but a 5 star rating is earned and i wanted the best."

"My brand new $300. inflatable popped after its second use. I purchased tear aid, repaired the two holes I found and believe it or not the product worked. Towed 2 kids around the bay 20-30 mph, hitting waves and the patches held. Unbelievably I hit an object in the water the next time out, found the hole (size of a pencil head) used tear aid for the third time and went tubing the next day. Six hours of intense tubing and all three patches held. Still using the tube repaired by Tear Aid. I am buying another kit and recommend this product to anyone who will listen. "This stuff works as advertised.""

"I was impressed with the holding properties. Easy to apply, the only drawback is the small amount of repair tape you get for the money. The actual size of the tape is about 3" x 10". Even though I liked this product alot the price may make me rethink purchasing it again."

"Purchased hip waders a few years ago for use in my Koi pond, and while they were a name brand item, both have cracked on the bending seam. Used the tear-aid patch on both boots, and found them to be excellent. Used them last weekend to clean the filter and other chores in and around the pond, and no leaks!!"

"I bought this kit to repair several tears in a Gazebo I had purchased. It is exactly as described and holds together unbelievably well. Just follow the directions as described and it will hold better than the material itself. In fact I accidentally let it touch the fabric and when I tried to remove the patch it actually tore the fabric so you need to make sure that you put it in the right place the first time."

"What a great product! I was going to go fishing in my float tube when I heard, what I thought, was an air leak from a valve. Regrettably, it was an air leak from the float tube bladder. I used the Type B Tear-Aid patch kit and was able to fish, not only that day, but many times since the repair. The repair was easy to do and has held up better than I had expected. I now carry a repair kit on all my inflatable boats. THANK YOU!"

"I was hoping for a do- all end- all solution. Although I followed directions, and knowledgeable websites recommended this procedure- if there was no self-fabric with which to mend the tiny tear- the patch, with barely any use at all, and no cleaning-seems to be beginning to un-adhere itself. (partially, I think, because the fabric is so light and fragile, the patch is almost too heavy for it).
My original purpose in purchasing the down jacket, was to keep my pack as light as possible for a 65 mile hike, 3/4 of which was above 11,000 ft. altitude, while staying warm. The jacket certainly fit that bill. But it is sad to realize that whenever anything snags it, I'll need to add a possibly non-adhering patch.
Can you either make patches in the same fabric, or use a lighter weight repair material, making the repair lighter?"

"This is the only tarp tear fix that I could find so as far as I can say, it's the best. The only downside is that the instructions say if you have access to both sides of the tarp to apply the fix to both sides. If you follow the directions exactly, you clean & apply the patch to one side, Flip it over, clean and apply the patch to the other side. But, the included alchohol pad disolves the adheasive on the patch. So make sure you clean both sides with the pad first, THEN apply the patch to both sides."

"I had my doubts if this was going to work or not, even after reading all of the reviews. We used it on our Intex Supreme Air Flow Bed, that my husband just had to poke 2 holes in. On accident. After following the instructions and we did let the bed set for several hours before inflating, and it works GREAT. In fact the same night we fixed it we had two people sleeping in it and it did not loose any air. This is a lifesaver of a product. Thanks for the reviews and thanks for another great product. Also I liked the air mattress SO much I took off the mattress and box springs for my bed and am sleeping full time on the Air Flow Bed, and it's still holding air."
