"Were exactly as advertised. Prompt delivery. Fit good and comfortable right out of the box. Sometimes hard to find shoes with wide width. Almost too pretty to wear when slopping around at the barn!! Fortunately we don't get a lot of rain."

Good warm and dry work boots!,

"Good warm and dry work boots! I work outside almost all winter and these boots have worked well, even in snowshoes. The only problem I have had with them is the heel padding has packed down and isn't very comfortable if I wear them for more than 10 hours a day. Other than that, they were a good buy and worth the price!"

"I work at a golf course in the Lake George region in upstate NY. I needed a pair of lightweight waterproof boots that could take a beating. These have held up better than any others I have had in the past. I'm usually lucky if a pair lasts more then a couple of months. These have gone through a full season and are still in great shape and will be used next spring."

"These boots run a little large and the tread isn't as deep as I had hoped. Other than that, they are great and well worth the money."

"Like a lot of other things these days, these boots just aren't worth the money. They hurt my ankles and feet due to the bunched up leather and eyeletes that made them feel very uncomfortable. I'm going to stick with my more expensive Danner boots that I have purchased which have proved to be very durable and comfortable."

Comfortable,

"I usually buy and use the wolverine "DuraShocks". I wasn't sure if these where going to be comfortable or not. Wow, I was amazed how they felt on. After a 12 to 14 hour work day, I get home and relaxe and still can leave them on. I like that they have a larger opening on top when you first put your foot in. I have not walked on water yet to see if they are waterproof. I may buy another pair just for casual outings."

A good work boot, but not a hunting boot.,
October 25, 2006
By ndcurler
from Devils Lake, ND

"These boots were the first work boots I've ever had to put aftermarket footbed replacements in. The factory ones dogged my feet and at least for me, had too high of arches. I got a new pair of work boots to replace them and thought they may make an acceptable pair of early season hunting boots. The waterproofing did not last very long when walking in 2-3" shallows. The amount of work involved to keep the leather conditioned and waterproof is enough that I would rather buy a higher priced pair in trade for less worrying. I cannot say I liked these boots very much but I have worn other great Wolverine products so I still like the brand."
