"I purchased this vest for a pheasant hunting trip to Kansas and I must say that it worked very well. All of the front cargo space was excellent and I especially liked the the two (2) inside pockets for field glasses, wallet, keys and snacks. The game bag was just the right size and the front loading was easy. I also purchased the Cabela's Active Lite Upland Jacket to use with this vest and it was an equally good product. With the temps at 15 degrees in the morning and 30 degrees at late afternoon, the wind shear and fleece layers made for a very comfortable combination the whole day. Both of these Cabela's products held up very well to the harsh Kansas underbrush and cold elements. Good job Cabela's."

"This is a replacement for the same vest i purchased three seasons ago. Last season I hunted about 110 days out of a 120 day season, and while it was not always for long, the vest got a fair work out. It got wet fairly regularly, and went through some pretty rough country, but lasted fairly well.
I've had to have shoulder patches replaced where the shot gun sling touched them, and some repairs for barbed wire damage, so my new vest purchase was precautionary against the original falling apart during the season."

"We are only halfway through hare chasing season and so far this vest has done well. Game vests are put to the full test with us working through cedar, balsam and spruce swamps. The pockets tender to snag on limbs and you end up tearing the seams, but this vest has been up to the challenge. The pockets take the weight of ammo, radio, cell phone, dog tackle and full water bottles very well. The deep game pouch is nice, as the contents stay in there even when the load shifts to the sides."
