"I bought a new Bear Bow this fall its called Lights Out. Right out the box and now I needed to tune it. These new bows will shoot much better when they are set up properly. I decided to spend the extra $$ to get the best results. I was not disappointed. Its a lot of $$ but it will be used many times. It was easy to set up. about ten minutes and I was shooting bulls eyes. When I travel to Hunt, I will now be able to check my bow to make sure its ready to go. The airlines are rough on my gear, even when I have it cased. Even when I hunt in our local mountians the roads can be rough. This is a great unit and its well built."

"I was thrilled the moment I set it on my bow. I have a Mathews Drenalin and my sight mount has 2 extra screw holes that are tapped for mounting screws. I was able to mount the laser to these holes and align the rest, the arrow, from nock to broadhead point and sight pins perfectly in 10 minutes. After that it is just a matter of setting range. Paper shot perfectly. Largest difference was how much more quietly the bow shot. Great for checking bow prior to hunt after travel. Worked so well I aligned 4 other bows at the range for friends and other members. I was shocked by how far out of alignment my bow and all others were from the original tech setup. It is quite deceiving how you can shoot consistently with a non parallel setup, but adjustment are much simpler when you get everything aligned. A side note, alignment brings everything quite close to riser so be sure of fletching or vane clearance. I powder check to be sure. Foot powder spray works great"

"Yes you can use this for it's intended purpose, however you will still need to paper check your bow to be sure. So spend the money or take the time to paper tune your bow and save the money. Your call, it does give you a starting point. My advice is to eye ball your rest w/ an arrow as best you can, then take the time to paper tune it, yes it may take a while but that is the fun part of bowhunting, fine tuning your setup to see what works for you.
I recently had a bow tech tell me that paper tuning is not needed anymore with today's newer/faster bows. I checked his work (through paper) when I got home and needless to say it was off. Either way always check it through paper.

"This product is very expensive but it does exactly what it was made to do. I went to 3 differnet archery shops to set my arrow rest. All 3 were in different locations and were off center.
In frustraion I decided to make an impulse purchase and shell out $ for EZ eye. It seems to be dead on. Now I wouldnt really recommend this product to a friend because I'd just let him borrow mine."

"installed the lazer eye tool, noticed I was a little off adjusted and shot exelent. this is a must tandem tool with the arrow levels. I guess better to buy this than pay the proshop and have the piece of mind that you did it yourself!"

"Very easy to set up and use. Would have given it 5 stars except it has a slight "catch" or "bur" in the pivot when turning it from the nock/string to the arrow tip. It gives the impression that the arrow is not straight. This occurred on every arrow at the same place on every arrow so I feel it is the gauge and not the arrows. Hopefully, this glitch will work itself out with usage. I have only used this device once but am well pleased."

"Great little gadget! I set up two bows in less than 30 minutes and it takes all of the guess work out of finding centre shot. It's small enough to take on away-from-home hunts in order to check centre shot after you've dropped your bow from the tree stand!
As an aside, I've purchased a lot of items from Cabela's over the past few years and you gotta love the size of the boxes everything comes in. Actually, it's kind of neat. When the package arrives, you have no idea whether it's your new tree stand or the package of nocks you ordered. :-)"

"There are products out there used to find your center shot on your bow. I have tried various types in the past twenty five years and they have worked but I never fully trusted the results 100 %. The easy eye center gauge works with no doubt in my mind and it only takes seconds to do. You do have to level your arrow in the launcher of you rest in its most elevated position and find a nok height on your bow string. The rest takes seconds to find center. Good luck hunting this year."
