Great womens/kids bow,July 28, 2009

"Set this bow up for my wife to bowfish with. Once I got it rigged and zeroed I took a friend and his 12 year old out with it for their first time bowfishing. The kid got his 1st fish on his 3rd shot and just kept getting better. This is a 12 yr old who never shot a bow before! I've used plenty of these at youth events our club does and they're top notch for their limited capabilities."

Great bow for youth, but...........,March 21, 2008

"The "Genesis" is a great beginners bow but if your young one can handle the added poundage of the "Pro" model go that way. The problem with the "Genesis" is it doesn't have a "STOP" point. The shooter must rely on his/her ability to anchor consistently without a "stop". I put a peep on the string and have my grand daughter shooting with a release. She does well at 15 yards but the anchor is the problem. I can shoot gold all day at twenty yards with it but I pull it to it's max for a consistent "stop."
Using Genesis arrows also."

"This bow is excellent right out of the box for any beginner about 9 and up. It also supports after market upgrades very well. It is made well with materials that should last long enough to get a second generation of use or hold up to regular use by juniors at a club."

"This bow is great, the first time my daughter picked it up she was able to shoot it and hit the target, after about three shots she was hitting within 3" of the targets center. My wife who has never shot a bow in her life was even able to use it without any difficulty, although not as good as our daughter! This bow will not disappoint you!"
