This egg pattern has a slightly larger profile and gives the appearance that there is either more than one egg or some of the skein membrane is still attached. It's great for slightly off-color water. Per 3.
Sizes: 6, 8.
Colors: Dark Roe, Oregon Cheese, Steelhead Orange.

Steelhead,November 20, 2006
By SteelSlayerfrom Pittsburgh, PA
"Great all around lure. I use this pattern in Erie a lot for steelhead, and have found that when the water is a little high and murky, this fly works great. I like the smaller version and really try to get it down to where the fish are. Great all around fly that steelhead and rainbows kill!"
