"This sling is the perfect sling if you own a military rifle, or clone. It fits the sling eyes perfectly, allows the use of the original hardware, and looks like it actually belongs on the weapon. If comfort is an issue when carrying the rifle in the field, purchase a fleece seat belt pad at your local auto parts store, and it will carry as comfortably as a wider, padded modern rifle sling."

"The only sling for those who know how to shoot with a sling. I add a homemade sheepskin pad to these to distribute some weight but won't interfere with wraping my arm through it. I've had some of these for over 30 years and they hold up great."

"I'm using this sling on a Springfield M14. The sling is strong and durable and is holding up well. One problem is that the leather cracked right at the rear swivel. Aside from cracking the sling is priced right, easy to install, and easily adjusted."

"I have insalled the sling . It's on a short double barreled 12 gauge that came from the factory with sling loops. It's mostly for appearance . The sling seems to be good quality for the price ."

"Bought the 1" sling to go onto my mini-14. The sling itself is thick, strong, and great color ... but it is too thick. The brass clamps that are threaded through the sling holders are to high/thick to make the fit. Guess I will wrestle with it a bit and perhaps do a bit of trimming?"

"I don't know if it's an exact military replica...not an authority there, but is sure looks good on my Garands, MIA and 22 Military rifles. Top quality. Can't find a better price. It's a dark brown versus the lighter ones I've seen elsewhere."
