The new Thermal version is beefed up with heavier-weight fibers for added warmth. We then added 5% Lycra® to the cuffs, so they'll always bounce back to their original shape, even after you've pushed up your sleeves. Machine washable. Imported.

"These shirts are okay. They do not shrink very much and so far hey have bee durable. These shirts are not warm enough to wear by themselves. I usually wear a Duofold heavy weight wool/cotton long sleeve undershirt and a turtleneck under it and that usually is sufficireny"

"I bought a 3XLT and washed and dryed it because it ran a little big. It shrank tremendously, so much that I couldn't tuck it in anymore! Great shirt just air dry it. Cableas replaced my shirt at no cost to me, I was very shocked at this. Cabelas really lives up to taken care of its customers!"

"I have used a similar product for a night shirt for many years. I wore it out. I was hoping I would get an identical product because it looked like it in the picture. The product I received was a lot lighter not as warm as the one I was use to wearing. Probably not fair to compare, and I would not have complained but since you asked, that is my answer."

"I bought two of these shirts 2XL Tall in midnight and chestnut colors. The midnight fit well, the chestnut was huge. I returned it for a size smaller (customer service was great!), however the new one although a little smaller in the body is a lot longer, almost to my knees. Too much inconsistency to buy them again. Cabelas seems to lack consistency in their sizing. However, Great customer service personnel!!"

"This is the second one I bought from Cabelas, and it's really great. When saw it for the first I thought for myself : Is this really thermal? It looks simply cotton, it will need layering.
Well, the simply cotton is thermal, and I can't say you can go to Alaska or Anchorage with it (of course not), but surely it's thermal. Walking in the middle of a chilly, windy & frosty morning, I surprised myself taking away the sweater on top, because this piece alone with a T-Shirt long sleeve and a jacket was more than enough.
An essential garment on those dodgy days of spring/automn."
