"Cabelas needs to come up with a better product than this. Not very durable, bought 2 of these things in 3 yrs. The filler doesn't hold up to well. Outer cover not very durable. Not to happy with this product"

"The cover is very nice. The pad itself is too fluffy and fills the kennel too much. The dog acts like it were on a water bed. The cover of the lining is too air tight."

"This product is tough in material and even tougher for a dog to use. When the animal steps on the pad to lay down it is full of air and the dog looks as if it is trying to lay down on a balloon. Concept of a water proof pad is great but it does not work well with an impatient dog!"

"I did not like this pad, it is way to bulky, takes up to much room in dog crate, my dog doesn't like going into the crate with the pad in the crate. Also the cover cannot be removed so now way to wash the pad, a very poor design."

"This product turned out to have loft (fluff) more like a pillow, and is 4-5" thick, compacting as my dog climbed into the crate and lay on it. While the product itself is OK, it is not a pad an inch or two thick, which is more appropriate for a crate. It also had difficulty compacting when the zipper on the cover was fully closed; leaving the zipper slightly open fixed that.
Having said that, I kept it, used it, and once my 90 lb. Lab got became accustomed to wallowing around in its thickness and accepting of the "whooshing" noise as it compacted under his bulk, it has been fine."

"Within an hour my dog had opened the zipper.
There is no zipper stop.
It is just a loop or continuos zipper, so it is easy to open from the oposite of the toungue end."

"A good kennel pad for the price. It is quite fluffy, but does deflate slightly when the dog is on it. I like the nylon cover - makes clean up easier. I did however, put an old bathroom rug between the kennel floor and pad, as my Labrador Retriever flies into her kennel making this kennel pad like a skateboard. She stopped hitting the back her Vari Kennel with the rug in place."

"an inexpensive dog pad made in the USA! it fits perfectly in our "Mutt Hut" brand kennel. I would have liked to been able to select the fabric, but we ended up with a very neutral brown, which works well with our black dog."

"The kennel pad is measured while puffed up, and it's very puffed up. I suggest you buy one two sizes larger then it would seem you need. It also fills with air when unused and seems to occupy most of the volume of the kennel. Once your dog gets on it, however, it seems just fine."

"The pad is too "fluffy" and takes up too much vertical space in the kennel. Every time the dog gets out of the kennel the pad "balloons" up again, making it difficult for the dog to get back into the kennel. A flatter pad would be much better."
