"These cartridge cases work fine but rattle. I cut out 1/4" foam to fit in the top cover, load boxes with case down & compress the foam in the top over the bullet tips while running a piece of tape to hold it togather. No more rattle & a quick pull of the tape gives you 20 rounds quickly. It also fits in an AR or M-14 mag pouch."

MTM 20 round slip top slips a ltittle too much,

"This case held my 308 rounds securely, but the slip top case is a little too slippery, and can slip off if your not holding the case securely.
It would be nice to have a catch to keep the box from accidentally opening."

"I've been using the largest size which is supposed to accomodate Magnum size cartridges. It will, if the cartridges are placed point end down. The problem with this is that they are not held securely in place. This is not a problem with 30-06 size cases as the cartridge slides to the bottom of the case (point up) and is held securely in place. Overall, it's a good product but they need to design a slightly larger version to accomodate Magnum size case heads."

"The "large" worked for the 30.06 & 308 but I had to turn 7mm Remington Mag & 7mm Weatherby Mag upside down to get into box resting the shell on the bullet.
With some force the shell would go in the right way but were next to impossibel to get back out.
Iwould like to see a "X-LARGE" version for the larger calibers."

"Durable good box for a hunting trip. Shells are protected and travel well without the space of a 50 or 100 round box. I wouldn't advise the slipping it in your pocket, just makes a lot or noise so unless you are blowing up varmits, that is not going to work so well.
I like being able to see through the box to see what you actually have in there.
For general storage look at the 50 or 100 round boxes."

"Ammo at the top end of the scale such as the .338 mag in a case rated to hold the .338 in addition to the .300 mag & 7mm mag fits too tightly into the case making extraction difficult. A slightly larger diameter shell holder for the .338 would be preferred. A slight redesign is needed for the larger casings.
In .30-06 and smaller cases it is perfect! Not too tight to inhibit extraction nor too loose to rattle excessively. Bullet tips are protected in the smaller cases but not in the magnum cases where the top rests against the bullet tip."
