"I have worn these shoes for almost 20 years, alo paid $180 + for most pairs. I am on my feet all day and usually can wear a pair for 3 years before needing replacment. The last 2 years my high end speciality shoe store in the twin cities told me these shoes were not available,know I know why better pricing at other outlets"

Never Seen a Shoe Leave Scuff Marks Like This,August 14, 2009

"Very comfortable shoe but if you plan to use them in the office for casual Friday, you might think twice.
The soles leave back/brown scuff marks on the plastic floor mat like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’m hoping they may “wear-in” with time but whether they do or not the scuffing is unacceptable.
I’d keep them for walking – I suppose but I really wanted them for Fridays as well."

"The description of these walking shoes is very compelling. But alas, I could not make them work for me. Like many pre-formed rubberized sole shoes (aside from those of New Balance) I found these shoes to be too narrow particularly at the narrow part (instep) of my foot, which itself is unusual. Additionally, you should also note that these soles have a rounded sole on them and at the heel is actually rounded up and otherwise flat from front to back. The rounding of that heel upwarded, tends to not provide normal heel support, which I also found problematic. I ultimately returned these shoes and have decided that Clark's Shoes are not going to work for me."

"The Clarks Air Mover shoes are the fourth pair I have owned. They provide the support and comfort I need and are long lasting. The only thing I don't like about them is the very thick laces which tend to become untied. "This will be the third pair of Clarke Air Movers. The first pair was my first try at buying shoes without trying them on. When they came they fit. After about a month I bought another pair in black. Wore the bottoms off both pair. Then I couldn't find anyone selling them until now. I too want notice should they decide to quit making this shoe. Takes about a weeks use to get the soles to form fit your feet. Then they really are comfortable."

I did have some problems with the later lots that were manufactured in England in that the sole would seperate from the shoe; however, the newer versions constructed in China seem to hold togeather better"

"I recently purchased a pair of Clarks Air Mover Shoes item #IJ-820609. At first I was a bit surprised the shoes were made in China and not England, where Clarks were originally made however, that aside I have found my Clarks Air Mover Shoes to be extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time, they required no breaking in and they look great either as a casual or semi formal shoe. The shoes look to be of superior quality and although rather expensive are good value. I cannot buy this shoe locally here in Tasmania Australia where I live, so being able to purchase from Cabelas over the net is a great bonus. I thoroughly recommend these shoes."
