"I got he jacket just at the end of the deer season, but I have used it several times because it has been so cold in Jan here in Virginia. It keeps you very warm and works great in the snow. The large pockets on the front are great and very useful."

"More bulky than I expected. But it did the job of keeping me warm in 10 - 15 degree F weather. Has two outer storage pockets that close with snaps as well as hand pockets and an inner pocket that zips close. I'm very satisfied with my purchase."

"The zipper busted within fifteen minutes of opening the package...The jacket is prety good...The zipper is junk! I had to keep it because I got it a day before leaving on a hunting trip that... I didnt have another jacket heavy enough to use so I used this one and just used the buttons to close the front....What a shame..."

"I ordered the jacket and pants for late season hunting here in ohio. After trying them on I loved the jacket, perfect fit! the pants fit well but wished for a adjustment or "snug" feature on the waist. full zippers on legs makes for easy dressing.The shell is soft and seemed well in construction, the insulation made some noise while wearing them. I tried them out for the bonus gun season of muzzleloader, weather was in the teens with light winds and I was warm and dry, wearing only base layer underneath! I cant say enough good things about the warmth and comfort about this set up!! I sat on stand for 4 hours until my feet went cold, the rest of me was warm and dry.. I still hunted and did a few drives, and had to unzip the jacket a few times and slow down as I could feel I was gonna start sweating! I hunted both days from 645am till I reached the cabin at 545pm ,I was out all day in comfort.also they shed water well, and the pant legs by my boots were damp by the end of the day. I hung them up in the cabin, and by the next morning they dried on their own. I bow hunt alot and the slight noise it makes it the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, but for the gun hunter I think this is the best buy for the money! Im gonna go out again and sit on stand, try to move around while deer are present to see if noise is even a issue. excellent product!"

"I have been using this jacket regularly now, instead of the coveralls. The hand is very long and provides very good coverage. The weather block feature is very good plus I got the jacket on sale. Overall a good jacket. I would not recommend it for bowhunting on no wind day because if it somewhat noisy."

"I recently purchased this jacket to use here in the western PA hunting seasons. During the winter deer season, it can get very cold in january and my old coat wasn't warm enough. my other coat wasn't waterproof either, which is the main reason why i bought this jacket. i've worn it two times already rabbit hunting and it has passed all my tests. when i hunt i dont shy away from thick brush that grabs at your gear. i busted right through all of it and the jacket didnt rip or tear at all. the two days i wore it it was below freezing, and the second day didnt get above 20 degrees until i got home. i stayed warm while stillhunting in this jacket, but not too warm. the two large pockets came in handy to hold my extra shotgun shells and a pair of gloves as well as a wool hat. the fleece lined hand warmer pockets did a very good job of keeping my hands warm while not moving.
i give it a 4 star rating now because i havent worn it in rain or snow yet. i plan to put this jacket to the real test in bad weather, and plan to wear it fishing in march and april if the weather turns bad. another overall great from cabelas."

"My primary considerations for a hunting jacket are 1) warmth 2) quiet and 3) water repelant. I bought this jacket for my son to hunt in for opening weekend in the Catskills which usually require at least two of the three characteristics mentioned above. This is the first cabela's item I purchased that I was less then excited about, despite its very reasonable price. It was not real cold this weekend and we did not get any rain so my primary problem was with the noise it made with the simplest movements (I could hear it with each breath he took). I will return it and anti up for something quieter-I guess I should've know a 100% polyester jacket is bound to be noisy."
