Co2 Discharger,
August 11, 2008
By RBak
from Moses Lake, Washington
|
"This is a great little tool for hunting, especially when you didn't get the shot you wanted that day but you feel the need to unload your rifle, without firing it, and wipe it down good for the next day.....it's also great for your friends who do "Dry Ball"! Now, we all know there are two kinds of folks that shoot muzzle loaders.......those who have dry-balled, and those who are going to, and since we've already done it, we know what a hassle it can be. This is a quick and easy way to get on with your hunt without having to remove that ball with the ball puller."

co2 load discharger,
February 20, 2008
By prussell44
from south west Oregon
|
"I was disapointed in the load discharger. There is no way it would it would blow a load out. I used up three co2 bottles and finally had to stuff priming powder into the priming hole and only then got the load out. You only get about 3 blasts out of a bottle. There has to be a better way."

Had some problems, but overall good . . .,
November 10, 2007
By Pilgrim

"I only used this discharger about a half dozen times and the rubber O ring somehow got chewed up and wouldn't seal the co2 cartridge and was completely unusable. I found the exact same rubber O ring at the local hardware store and was able to replace the original one. The discharger now works just like brand new again. When I discharge the load from my Hawken rifle it shoots the bullet about 50 feet in the air. Very impression. I like it. It makes unloading a misfire real easy."

CO2 Discharger works great,
August 20, 2007
By PhilaFred
from Los Angeles CA
|
"I recently purchased a flintlock pistol that had a loaded charge that would not fire.... I ordered the CO2 discharger, along with a flintlock adapter (YOU MUST ORDER AN ADAPTER), and the system worked better than advertised... a quick press of the button, and a shot of compressed air cleared the barrel of shot and charge. The lead ball went around 20 feet, and bounced harmlessly off of a backstop. It saved the day; I was a bit leary of poking around with corkscrew tools in a "live" barrel (even though the power was most likely compromised and inert, but you can never be 100% certain)."

Best Thing I spent my money on,

By Flinter

"This is the best thing I spent my money on. It helps me clear my nipple and breech and gets me out of all kinds of tight spots. Whenever I get my ball stuck this is quick and easy. I really love this. It is the best thing I spent my money on and has saved my butt many times."

Co2 discharger,
April 30, 2007
By DUtreasurerDon
from Westville, IN
|
"At first I was disappointed. I opened the package and it did not have an adapter with it. It was my fault for not reading what it came with. After paying a second shipping charge for the adapter. The discharger works GREAT! No noise, just put the adapter on the nipple and squeezed the trigger and the ball came right out. I went outside and blew it into the dirt. Thanks for having such a great product."

Unloading made easy,
November 22, 2006
By Elwoodd
from Stroudsburg Pa
|
"When it comes to shooting flintlocks there are two kinds of people. Those who have forgotten to put powder in the barrel before the patch and ball and those who are going to. With my Co2 Discharger it's not a problem. It's a safe and easy way to remove the patch and ball and it's fast. I feel better knowing that at the end of the days hunt I can completely unload my flintlock."

CABELAS CO2 LOAD DISCHARGER,
November 21, 2006
By RGS39
from Oak Ridge, TN
|
"The CO2 load discharger is brilliant. It comes real handy in a pinch when you can't fire the load out of your muzzleloader. The CO2 load discharger will do it for you. And it will do it safely. I was on the range with my muzzleloader and I was about to leave I realized I still had a load down the barrel. I pulled out my CO2 Load Discharger and cleared the barrel in a split second."

No problem to unload now.,
November 20, 2006
By Eagle84
from East Fishkill, NY
|
"I have been meaning to purchase one of these CO2 unloaders for my inline black powder rifle for a long time. I just never seem to remember to order it, I finally did. It works as it's supposed to and very easy at that. You could even use it in the field to change loads or projectiles quietly if the situation called for it. It's nice to be able to unload and not have to fire off rifle to get into vehicle. No more wasting expencive sabots."
