"Worked great at first, then the whole mount became loose after 1/2 dozens shots (3.5 mag). When I tightened it up so it would not come loose, my new Rem 11/87 semi-action would not open to eject the shells because the mount was pressing in on the sides of the receiver to tight. I played with this for a while and then took it off and sold it! I give it a 2 at best."

"This mount attached like a glove to my 870 Super mag. It is a strong solid mount that I would recommend to ANYONE! It also has one excellent feature of being able to still use your regular sights in addition to the scope sights. What a great and simple idea. Thanks."

"You may need some help to put the gun back together after you install this shotgun saddle mount. You have to take the bolts out that hold the trigger in place. Not an easy install.
I used this bracket to mount a mag light for night hunting.
Just take off the top half of the bracket and use wire ties to hold maglight in place. I drilled 2 holes for the wire ties.
It works perfect. You can't miss with a 12 gauge up to 30 ft away."

"I decided to put a scope on my trap gun and didnt wanna drill and tap it. soo i decided to go with this. this is a excellent saddle mount and hasnt been knocked off yet. for once this season i took my slug gun out since it shot 1'' groups instead of my sabot gun thanks to this mount. looking forward to turkey season. my only complaint is the mounts sit too low and makes the scope touch the saddle mount. oh well went out and bought some for 20$ still well worth the price."

"Recently mounted b square on my 11-87 turkey gun.Easy to do.Like the fact that when or if I take off the scope and mount that it'll still be sighted in.turkey loads are too expensive to have to zero everyyear.Weaver mounts have come loose on me before so I like this one better.Inadvertnally no directions were sent though so I didn't know that if tightened to firm that the receiver wont function properly.easy fix."

"I bought this mount for my Remington SP-10 and with a Bushnell Red/Green Dot sight made this a deadly combination for turkey hunting. Simple installation and a great fit. With my friend/guide Daniel's calling, I killed my second turkey ever at 20 yards. It weighed 19.1 lbs, had a 10 3/4 in beard, and had 1 7/16 spurs. Needless to say I was very excited."

"It is super, super easy to install. I just put it on my 870 and it literally took about 2 minutes. I spent more time putting the gun in a vise than I did mounting the hardware. No real gunsmithing to it, just some common sense about trigger assys. Scope mounted easily and tightly. I also love the fact that the scope and rings can come off and leave the mount on the gun. The raised rail allows you to still use factory bead or TruGlo or whatever you have. Super cool. Might need a little work around the holes and rail, as far as a solid flush fit, due to camo paint..nothing a little 3M pad or whatever won't scuff off."
