"I recently purchased the carry on to add to my collection. I have been through four airports with this without any incidents. "Nice bag / luggage. It looks good. But it tips over backwards, no matter how I pack it. Nice wheels. But no inside pockets. I unscrewed the stand pad and pick up handle combo, but then it tilts forward and falls over on it's front.
I'm going to saw off the stand pads. Just 1/4 of an inch. And, hope the plastic footing stands / pads hold up to wear and tear.
I got to tell you, the Swiss Army ( wenger) ?? I recently looked at, looks much better than this one.
I wanted to buy more of this series, but am reluctant.

"I travel by airlines & vehicle 3 weeks at time the large wheeled duffel holds all I need, it is extremely tuff and durable, has to be, to stand up to airline baggage handlers and in & out of vehicle & motels. "Top quality luggage. The body is very thick canvas and leather covers all of the wear points. The zippers are very heavy duty (so heavy, they are actually a little stiff). A little bees wax and they are fine. I would highly recommend any of the outback line of luggage."

Large Outback Series Luggage, Wheeled Upright,February 23, 2009

"I purchase the Outback Luggage, because it looked real good on the computer and website. It is beautiful and is constructed very good. It has large zippers and uses leather at the coners. Really nice. I gave it 2 stars because it does not stand up without leaning it against something. Instead of 90 degrees, it is 80 degrees. The bottom foot at the bottom is too big. I took it off and trimed 1/2 inch off. Still did not work. The lifting handle touches the ground and made it worse. I ended up with a 3/4'' X 1 1/2'' piece of wood. The time I spent on the band saw, drill press and planner, took about 6 hours. It works fine now. I should have stayed with my other brand. I think they might use the same bracket on more than one type of luggage ? I don't know how they pass inspection when they won't even stand up by themselves."

"I bought the carry-on, it was mounted on the wall at the store. Found out the reason after I bought it. It will not stand up empty or full. There is a design flaw in that the roller wheels are lower than the front feet. Otherwise the bag is nice. But the annoyance of not being able to let go of it without having it leaning against someting renders it unusable. I assumed it would be of great quality being from Cabela's and their brand - buyer beware."

"I PURCHASED AN EXTRA LARGE WHEELED DUFFEL FROM THE SAME PRODUCT LINE APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS AGO.
