Bucket seat,
March 10, 2010
By Kodiakfishing
from Kodiak Ak.
|
"First review I ever did here but liked this rig so much I had to do one. Use it for Duck hunting. shore fishing, as an extra seat on the boat and even at the job site. Bucket holds lots of gear and seat is quiet and comfortable. Cusion will not absorb water. Like they say it's the little things that make or break a good day in the field."

Silent Spin Bucket Seat,
March 8, 2010
By RTTGUIDE

"Comfortable seat while sitting on the ice or along side a lake or stream. Very portable.
I would make the cover snap onto the 5 gal pail a little easier. Takes a lot of pressure to engage the seat into the grooves."

"I received one as a Christmas gift. I liked using it and purchased two more, and gave one to my shorefishing brother. It also serves as a great foot rest (ottoman) when sitting on my folding director's chair. Good purchase."

Have a Seat,
February 12, 2010
By shakeyshot
from Northern California
|
"The Silent Spin Bucket Seat fits plastic 5-gallon buckets very well. Spins easily, even when under the stress of a big backside. The cushion is firm enough to retain its shape, but not too firm to be uncomforable. This seat converts a bucket into a much more versatilve item.
Made in the USA!!!!!
I have one recommendation: combine this padded swivel camo seat with a loo seat - that would be the best of both worlds."

Not-So-Silent But a Great Concept,
January 3, 2010
By TEW551

"I love the concept of the spin seat. I've used a folding stool for years but turning around in a folding stool is not easy without making enough noise to spook a deer. I've already adapted my spin seat to a plastic 5-gallon paint bucket which I spray painted in a camou design. I can see already the spin principal will be a big plus. I do recommend, if necessary, that you might want to trim the tabs (where the seat snaps onto the bucket) with a knife so that it snaps on more quietly in the field. Also, when reversing directions or when first beginning to spin, there was a distinct noise coming from the area where the plastic protrusions underneath rub against the "tracking". That alone could spook a deer. I put a generous amount of vaseline on the track and the problem was solved. Vaseline has little or no odor. Another big plus I see is the ability to carry alot of things into the field in the bucket itself that I would normally carry in an accessories belt and pockets. I can't wait to use it as I really enjoy hunting on the ground."

Silent Spin Bucket Seat,
December 26, 2009
By Dave1911
from Upstate NY
|
"If you want to sit on a pail while duck hunting, this is the best seat BAR NONE!. I don't care if it's silent or not. What I want in a duck blind or corn field is a bucket style seat that lets me store everything I need while hunting. Ammo, gloves, food, etc. But most important is the swivel feature this has. Scrap that piece of junk that comes on all those othet pails, and put this on it. PERFECT!"

"SIT AND SPIN. ITS ALRIGHT. DOESN'T QUITE FIT THE BUCKETS I HAVE, FOR A TIGHT FIT, BUT THAT MAKES IT EASIER TO ACCESS WHEN I'M HUNTING. I USE IT FOR THE DUCK BLIND. HOLDS MY EXTRA SHELLS, COFFEE ETC."

Great Seat,

By jcdaven

"I hunt wildlife areas where you need a light marsh seat to hunt the ponds. I tried traditional seats, but this one beats them all. Marry it to a camo five-gallon bucket, and you have a handy seat/blind bag combo. Great value and more than worth the money."

Quiet and Smooth Bucket Seat Top,
November 24, 2009
By glondon
from Southern CA
|
"I had no trouble with this; it worked great on a recent archery hunt when used inside of my Cabela's hunting blind. Scored a nice antelope at 27 yards. I like using a bucket as a seat because it's an easy way to carry stuff to my blind. This fits the bill and I'd buy it again."
