"I was dissapointed in that I specifically asked for a waterproof cover and this cover is as porous as a sponge. It keeps the sun out, but considering where we live, sun is hardly a problem. It may work fine for some, but this is not what I asked for, nor does it work at all for me."

"Sturdy and seems to be a quality product. It does keep my kennel cooler than you would think because the material does allow light to penetrate. If there's a down side it would be that during a heavy rain the water builds up on the kennel cover. It takes a while for the water to pass through the material. Be sure to attach the kennel cover every foot or so to avoid this problem."

"I purchased this and ended up building a roof over half of my kennel. It came with plastic ties to attach the roof and it was very hard not to have sagging in the middle. It may be ok on the sides, but definitely no good for the top as a roof."

"I have used tarps attached to the top of the kennel in the past, which worked ok, but I had to replace them every year due to tearing and ripping. The Cabela's kennel cover works very well, allows plenty of air circulation, and is very easy to install. I installed the 8ft X 13ft cover myself. Great Product."

"I bought the first one to shade my GSP lady in the hot and humid south La. summers. She loves it so I bought a second to use when the first gave out. The first has now gone thru Katrina-Gustav and Ike. Three hurricanes and still going strong. What can I say-GREAT STUFF!"

"Overall I am happy with this UV cover. Works great against the sun's UV! Our dog is well protected for sure! 4 star rating b/c I was a little dissapointed after a hail storm we had (not overly huge hail), storm lasted about 5 minutes and the cover stretched some (sags in the middle now)from the weight of the hail on it so I am assuming this cover probably wouldn't be the greatest here in Canada with snow either so we will take it off in the winter...no major UV here anyways that time of year!"

"I am VERY please with the quality of the cover, I have tried to use a tarp in the past to shade my dog with minimal success. Not only does this cover protect your dog the sun but, it's not damaged by high winds or rain. I should have purchased sooner!"
