"If the seat is not attached pretty much parallel to the ground, I found it will squeak and/or pop, which could be a bad thing. It is comfortable to sit on, but so is the non swivel seat, which I'd buy more of."

"I recently gained permission to hunt private property I am not familiar with. I didn't want to haul a treestand in, and needed some more time to get familiar with the land. This is an excellent product, and works as stated. I am able to ease into the woods with my gear easily. The seat is easy to set up, and silent as I swivel to view the sounds around me. The cushion is nice and thick too - which helps with hours of sitting. I will purchase another one as soon as I have enough Cabela's points to do so. It will allow my son and me to strap to the same tree while squirrel hunting soon. Currently using for deer, and this product allows me to be much more mobile and stealthy while in the woods."

"I am very happy with the swivel tree stand i purchased from Cabelas. This unit is compact enough and light enough that i am able to fit it in my day pack and carry it through the the bush. Sets up easily and securely to trees and have seen several deer using it. It is quiet to sit in, no squeeks when turning side to side."

"This was exactly what I needed to modify my ladder stand to a bow stand that allowed me to easily and quietly stand up, and shoot either standing or sitting. I am in the 250 range when fully dressed and loaded so the additional ratchet strap was a must. Thankfully I read the reviews and had one ready when I installed it. Great product and especially for the price."

"Yes its a nice rig/swivel seat etc etc, however even when Ratcheting it to a tree rather then using that useless tension strap setup the base still flips around when you raise the seat. To keep it from twisting sideways a person could drill a hole thru the upright bar and use a T-Handle tree screw to stop it from twisting."

"I bought this seat for bow hunting and have not used it in the field yet, but I have it strapped to a tree at my practice range. this seat is light weight very quiet and comfortable, (and I am not a small guy) the only thing I would change is to put a ratchet strap on it. This seat is well worth the low price. I highly recommend it."

"I do a lot of bow hunting from the ground for many types of game, this chair gives me almost 360 of shooting area. I tested the chair while wet and also while left outside in 0 zegrees, the swivel remained silent. It's much better than trying to shift around in a chair to get a shot. It comes with a claw type securing strap, which works, but I put a ratchet strap on it, it secured it to the tree better. I found the seat to be plenty comforatable for an all day hunt."

"This is a very comfortable seat. I bought it to use with my platform treestand. The padding is sufficient, and the swivel feature is silent. It also folds up nicely when you don't need it. I would recommend an extra ratchet strap over the mount bar against the tree and then the seat becomes very sturdy. In my opinion it is worth the money."

"This year, I used a Big Game Swivel Tree Seat for my stalking hunts. Compack and lightweight enough to carry in my day pack, I could mount the seat to any tree with the quick attach strap. This allowed me to sit comfortably off the ground when I found a good shooting spot. The silent swivel seat allowed over 180 degrees range of motion for shooting. All in all, a must piece of gear to have."
