Muzzy 100 Grain Tips,November 29, 2006
By Soncofrom Martinsburg, WV
"This is an extremely tough tip that will penetrate most anything. I've shot through deer, ribs, shoulders, and all and the tips still stay sharp and pointed. Even if you miss your deer and hit a tree or the earth (has happened more than once), they still maintain a good point, rocks excepted.
I've never had a problem with the points, but threads on the Muzzy head are somewhat soft and the points come off in trees when you pull too hard--especially hardwoods. Where possible it's best to notch a tree and get the head out that way or you'll loose the point and also damage the head.
The quality vs price of replacement points make it a good bargain and worth replacing points anytime they aren't needle sharp."

Get the Point!,November 28, 2006
By BCORNIfrom Norfolk, Nebraska
"This tip is sharp and to the point. It's hardness is apparent when you put them on the end of the Muzzy and tighten them down. The hollow grind on three sides of the tip makes the tip seem even sharper than it probably is. You have to know this tip will lead the way to great arrow flight and penetration.I really like the way the tip locks the blades in place in the ferrule. I get the point. Try them and you will to."
