Eureka Tents are AWESOME!!!,October 12, 2009
By DonMcNfrom Waddell, AZ
"We bought this tent for our 11yr old Boy Scout. He has a lot of experience campig just not with a tent. He was able to read the directions and set this tent up "By Himself" on the first try. And since that is one requirement for rank advancement in the scouts this tent was well worth the price!!"

eureka timberline 2 person tent,June 16, 2009
By brownsfan56from meadville pa.
"used this tent for the first time three weeks ago. setup was fast and easey ( was raining) by myself.
stayed warm and DRY all night , this tent is perfect for backpacking. would be tight for two adult"s. but i use it as a one person , and have plenty of room for my pack.
would suggest three cans of camp dry and waterproof the tent completely before useing, nothing wrong with the tent ,thats just what i do. im 52 and don"t like to get wet when i go out in the woods . and thats why i bought this tent , 5 stars."

good basic tent,April 21, 2009
By obrown23from Maine
"Good, solid, basic tent. Mine had a broken ring on the rain fly. Eureka will repair it but the repairs will take 6-8 weeks. I will use it as is. Too small for two people, perfect for one. Floor not durable for hard use. The tent pegs are cheap, but that seems to be the standard in the industry. i would buy another one."

Eureka Timberline 2 Person Tent,June 9, 2008
By Bapabearfrom Central Wisconsin and outdoors much of the time.
"At 6'2" this is definitely a one person tent for me. However on a week long trip to the Boundary Waters it performed comfortably. I had enough sleeping space and room for other gear. The ventilation system kept the inside of the tent bone dry from condensation. We had a 4 hour downpour one day in which the rainfly did its job but even with a properly fitted footprint of heavy plastic the floor got wet which disappointed me. However, I pulled the stakes out and tipped the tent on one end which allowed the breeze to allow it to dry pretty quickly. The tent stayed dry in lighter rain situations. Having had other tents with double door systems I found the door on one end to be limiting. Once you get the hang of the support system put up and take down is pretty easy. Quite a few pieces to keep track of."

Great 1 Person Tent,June 9, 2008
By KCRedfrom Kansas City, MO
"I bought this tent for motorcycle camping. It packs down nice and small and actually fits back into the stuff sack without having to refold it over and over and over. Unless you are putting very small people or children in it, it is not big enough for 2 people. It was perfect for me and my gear though. The front opens up completely making it easy to get in and out of. It stood up very good in high winds (30+ mpg) but you may want to think about getting better tent pegs. The ones it comes with are pretty cheezy."

Eureka Timberline 2,August 20, 2007
By gberetafrom Cleveland, OH
"A good and sturdy tent. I really like it. There is an improvement in fly construction comparing to the older version of this tent. Unfortunatelly, in contrast to the older version, there is only one door."

Eureka Timberline II,August 9, 2007
By CitrusCountyfrom Inverness, FL
"I live in the moist, scorching hot, and rainy Florida backcountry. This tent stayed dry through a dowfall and a sun storm. Not a drop came in the tent. But it is very lightweight and everything together can fit in a school backpack. I am about to Kayak the 3 Day Silver River Expedition next week and this tent will hold up! Amazing how such a lightweight tent once guided into the ground is so sturdy.
Two Downsides: Tent has terrible directions just go by the picture on the box BELIEVE me! Does not come with a "true" compression sack."

The Hunt,November 13, 2006
By Thriftyfrom California
"I'm 48, I started hunting with the same group of friends when I was in highschool. I needed to purchase a two man tent for my hunting trip to Wyoming. Well I did.
I searched the Cabela's site and found a tent manufactured by Eureka. I decided on the Timberline 2 person tent.
I searched the different sporting good sites, and found the same tent available. I was surprised that Cabela's had the best price on the exact same tent, so I purchased it.
Well, we had all types of weather for our trip. My buddies all had tents, there were five of us. After the first night they all complained of damp tents. Well mine was dry. Mid week, we had some snow. Well my tent had an outer shell that covered the tent. Guess what, dry tent, totally warm. My hunting buddies, wet and cold!
After a few very comfortable nights, hearing their complaints, I invited them to check out my tent, as I called it, The Presidential Suite. They didn't find much humor in my ability to stay warm and dry, and comfortable.
Well, unfortunately, I did not get an elk, but I did stay warm and dry. I can't say the same for my life long friends.
