"I am embarassed to say how many decades I have used this product. It works well and is consistant. I can apply good pressure without breaking the thread. With color preserver, the colors stay true and do not fade. A good reliable product, especially for those of us who wrap for a hobby, not a living."

"While the thread itself was fine, I would like to see a notation regarding the sizing of the thread as it relates to thickness. The thread I purchased, while I was able to use it, was thinner than I would have liked. Otherwise keep on selling the quality products I have grown to expect from Cabela's."

"Fenwick Brown turned out to be Chestnut brown. Thats the same color I've gotten in some of the kits. The thread itself is good quality. You might want to know, 200 yds is actually two spools. One will do a couple of rods. I bought size "A" which turned out to be a small/fine thread like the ones in the kits."

"I have used Grudebrod winding thread on several custom rods I have built. The variety of colors allows me to match or contrast the winding with the blank colors. The size A is excellent for winding the guides while the size D works very well when doing a custom weave pattern. A great product that I would recommend to any rod builder."
