I absolutely love this light!!,

"Went night fishing with some friends, and used this light for the first time. Instead of using a bunch of lanterns hanging over the side of the boat, we used this and only used a couple of lanterns. It really lit the water up beneath the boat. I highly recommend this to anyone going night fishing!"

Broke during first use,

"This light had an amazing effect on minnows (and subsequently small bass) when night fishing in an Arizona lake last week.
Unfortunately the fluorescent light tube leaked and water shut down the green light output after about 2 hours use.
The Spotlight still worked and helped some when used the next evening but nothing like the attraction of the green fluorescent light.
If you can get one that doesn't leak, it will attract baitfish if they're in the area. That, in turn usually brings in the predators in either fresh or salt water.
To quote my son "The ball of minnows looked like something from the TV show "Blue Planet"."

"With the addition of this light to my fishing arsenal especially for ice fishing in the dead of winter here in Interior Alaska, I feel my catch rate will significantly increase. I noticed a huge difference in the fish presence on the camera after I dropped the light down and in came the fish."

"This product is just plain amazing as my wife stated, we put the light in the water at 930PM waited until 1000PM before fishing around it. What happened after that was just amazing, we caught white bass for the next 2 hours and I mean on just about cast. What product."

"I absolutely love this light. It does not draw much battery power and the spotlight is very bright. Two nights ago my friend and I caught our limit of hybrid stripped bass on Cherokee Lake, TN vertical jigging while using this light.

"PRODUCT WORKS GREAT I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS LIGHT IF I HAD KNOW I HAD TO PUT 10 OUNCES OF WEIGHT ON IT TO SUBMERGE IT, I KNOW CABELAS SALES A LOT OF ITEMS BUT SOMETHINGS NEED BETTER DESCRIPTION, LIGHT IS A WINNER AND THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED NONE ONLY WHAT WAS ON THE PACKAGE, THERE IS A SRING INCLUDED WITH NO RESAON FOR IT I ASUME IT IS TIED TO LIGHT AND USED TO PULL IT UP INSTEAD OF THE WIRE ?"

"used it while smelt fishing there was nothing on my vexlar screen put the light in the water for 10 minutes my screen went solid red from 15 ft to 25 ft first time i ever caught smelt that high. firmly believe the light brought them in....."

"I have tried many different types of fishing lights and found this one to be very easy to use and transport. Most lights are big and bulky and do not work as well as this one. This light draws in the bait fish better then any other i have used. And we all know that bait brings out the lunkers. I have caugth some of my biggest using this light.!!!!!!"
