A little water problem,January 24, 2010
By DNFcapebretonfrom Nova Scotia Can.
"We have a doz. of these and are on our second season.Look excellent ,float nice ,the flocking and paint are average as far as durablity. The only problem is the water leaks in around the body where the head mounts. The head locking system is probably the best I have seen yet ,but if you have any more than 15 miles of of wind the water travels up over the breast and goes in around the locking system. To remedy this we are either going to silcone the heads on permanent or try to make up a thin rubber gasket."

Bad Product,January 23, 2010
By USAFbuckeyefrom Ohio
"Same problems as the other guys. Out of the box 2 leaked, flimsy bottoms, 1 broken head out of box, will be sending them back. Also bought Final Approach geese shell decoys, 4 broken heads in the first week... TOO FLIMSY CONSTRUCTION
If they didn't appeal to your eye, no one would ever consider these a smart buy.
***DO NOT RECOMMEND***"

Look Great, Poor Performing,January 6, 2010
By EasternShowmanfrom Waterfowl USA, Maryland
"Two of the heads broke on the first try to attach to the body. Very poor construction, super thin plastic on bottom of head pulls tiny little screw out with very lite pressure. Four of them are sure to leak before they even hit the water. If you squeeze them you can hear air escaping (aka taking on water for certain).
The up side is they look great with the flocking on the heads & tail feathers especially nice.
I guess if you like high maintenence dekes these would work, but I prefer to set em & forget em...these are headed back"

Final Approach Floating Goose Decoys,November 24, 2009
By HuntinDougfrom The Plains, Va
"I looked at the reviews and saw many of them said that the decoys were poorly made and flimsy. I bought them anyway. I have never sent anything back to Cabelas. I sent one out of 12 decoys back because it showed up with a hole. That's the first time I have ever had to do that.
After using them the first time, I am sending all 12 back because 2 of the decoys took on water the first time I used them. They are poorly made, the bottom is wafer thin. I'm not going to wait until all the other ones develop a leak because the bottom is super thin. No waterfowler would be happy with the quality. How can a decoy not float the first time??? I mean isn't that what its suppose to do???
Forget the reviews about the heads not going on well, and look at the dates on the other reviews.... You think that only 1 person wrote a review every month??? Come on, they're not up to standard with the other ones on the market.
If you buy them, be prepared to send them back...."

Great Goose Decoys,October 20, 2009
By MOKIfrom Highland, Utah
"I was more than impressed with these decoys! They're as beautiful right out of the box as they are on the water. I had no trouble with them at all, even getting their heads on was a sinch. The best part is the birds love them, I had geese swimming with them for over a half an hour without a clue! Thanks for such Great Decoys!"
