Scientific Anglers Shooting Head Fly Line Type IV

Fish the depths with this shooting taper head. It's a Type IV with a sink rate of 3.75-5.5 inches-per-second to get down quickly. With a more uniform sink rate from tip to belly, the line is exemplar for fishing streamers. Made with a single-strand monofilament nylon core and and powdered tungsten and glass bead coating, the line's thin diameter allows you to drive casts into a stiff wind. The mid-length 30-ft. head maximizes distance and control. Attach to a running line and you are ready for some long-range fishing.

I agree with the other reviewer, READ THE BOX and info. This isn't a full fly line and it's clearly marked that way! Don't give a bad review on a product due to your inability to read the basic info! People want to know how it performs. My only issue with using a shooting head is the the running line does tend to "hinge" when you're casting long distances. But this line works well for getting your fly down fast on deep lakes.

READ THE BOX

To the previous poster - Its a "shooting head", not a full line. You need to use a shooting line with this product, like amnesia, or frog hair - Both are memory free lines that make up the majority of casting distance, pulled forward by the 30 ft of the very heavy shooting head.

I recived 30 foot of line not the 30 yards I was expecting, it was priced as if it was 30 yards.
