Textured verses SharkSkin

I just bought this line it was not my line of choose I wanted the shark skin magnum taper in 5wt. I have it in a 7wt and love it best line ever in my opinion any way. Cabela's did not carry it in the Hamburg,PA store nor on there site or catalog. I would have to have ordered it from the OEM in order to get it in a 5wt. The sells man John said how about there new Textured line it is as good as the sharkskin and 10 bucks cheaper and we have it in stock. He said if you want I will spool up a reel and you can try it,so we did and let me tell you it was great I think they have a winner with this one. I think the sharkskin shoots line just a little better but all in all a great line you will not be sorry. The rod I was using was a TFO TiCr X in 5wt it is a fast rod and the line turned over just fine. Hope this review helps someone on the fence about this line.
