I received the 6/7 RIO Switch line yesterday for x-mas, and tested it swinging streamers for large trout in sunny but freezing conditions today. This line is awesome! It perfectly matched my 11 ft 6 wt TFO Deer Creek Switch throwing huge home-tied sculpzillas w/ double AB splitshot on a fast sinking RIO Versileader. Simple roll and single spey casts the heavy streamer rig easily, and punched double spey casts with smaller #10 girdlebugs with authority! A little cumbersome single hand overhead casting, but that's more to do with the long rod and heavy payload at the end of the line. This is the best line I've used on a switch rod, but the color scheme is weird. Ugly, actually. I think copying the RIO Gold aesthetic makes more sense.
