RIO® Striped Bass Fly Line

Has a 40-ft. clear AquaLux® head and a super-slick, supple running line on a supple cold-water monofilament core for smooth casting and minimal coiling. For night fishing, the luminescent running line glows when charged with a flashlight. Short bullet taper propels large flies with ease. Welded loop at both ends.

Good clean intermediate line!!

I like this line for stripers&bluefish for the shallow beach that I usually fish. The glow in the dark running line is a great feature for fishing at night(GOOD IDEA!!!!!!). The clear head is great for picky fish and the line has helped me land fish when they wouldn't cooperate with other fisherman.The line tends to get coiled up&tangles after a lot of use, but if you take the time to stretch it before use it seems to be OK.Besides that problem it's a good line all around. The best part about it is this line stays really clean. I love the fact that I never have to clean it!!!!!!!!!!

RIO Striper Line

I liked this line when first casting it out of the box, but it lost its luster for me on the water. The line is fine for short to medium casting, but it did not shoot well when looking for casts longer than about 50 feet. It's a decent line, but there are better clear intermediates available at the same price.
