The core of a Skagit line system. Rio’s Flight Head line delivers maximum flight time, effortless casting strokes and the tightest loops. The heads have a powerful back end that loads rods deeply and a subtle taper for efficient energy transfer to the tip, generating perfect loops and long distances. Thick tip front end packs a punch and lifts heavy lines and large flies with ease. XS technology gives the line a slick, dirt-repelling coating. Attach a shooting line to the ultrastrong welded loop at the back end, and customize the front loop with your choice of MOW tips, a standard 15-ft. tip or a section of T-8, T-11, T-14 or T-17.
