Worked great for me
Date:
I purchased this line just prior to a fishing trip to Belize. The line loads the rod quickly, even on shorter casts. The line is super slick so it runs through the guides very well. It maintains its integrity even in very warm conditions and floats like a cork, making pick-up fast and easy. This line is also tough as nails, or at least barnacles. I had bonefish running through mangrove shoots and the line was unscathed despite running over barnacles on the mangrove stems. Wish I could say the same for the leaders. This is a top performing line and would recommend it for any of your tropical saltwater flats needs.

great line
Date:
I purchased this line prior to a fishing trip to the Caribbean, and it didn't disappoint. The line performs exactly as described... it loads the rod quickly for fast shots to cruising bonefish, while its shooting head configuration and super-slick coating allow for long-distance performance that can't be beat.
This line stepped up my ability to make long, accurate casts 3 -fold over my past efforts, even in very strong winds. The running line maintained its stiffness in hot weather and very warm water, and it floats, allowing for a fast, tangle-free pick-up while wading.
In short, it is a joy to cast.
My fishing partner, who was struggling to cast with a traditional saltwater line, borrowed my outfit one day, and he was able to make casts straight into the wind that were previously impossible for him.
For anyone considering purchase of a fly line that performs extremely well in the windy, hot conditions typical of the tropics, this is truly a 5-star product.

Rio Bonefish fly line
Date:
I bought the WF6 and tried it this spring on a 51 degree temp. river. It coiled up bad. Water may have to be 80 degrees to work properly. Hot summer it may be okay, but right now its unusable.
